得聞敵言、則有勇力、可下攻營、遂攜僕普拉而往、至其營隅、近於行伍、

聽眾所言、後即遇敵、可強乃志。其田與其僕部喇遂下、至營之極處、近於行伍。

爾聞米甸人所言、後必有膽、下而攻營、基甸與僕普拉遂下、至營之邊、近於隊伍、

我靠着那加給我力量的，凡事都能做。

基甸到了，就聽見一人將夢告訴同伴說：「我做了一夢，夢見一個大麥餅滾入米甸營中，到了帳幕，將帳幕撞倒，帳幕就翻轉傾覆了。」那同伴說：「這不是別的，乃是以色列人約阿施的兒子基甸的刀；神已將米甸和全軍都交在他的手中。」基甸聽見這夢和夢的講解，就敬拜神，回到以色列營中，說：「起來吧！耶和華已將米甸的軍隊交在你們手中了。」

你們要使軟弱的手堅壯，無力的膝穩固。對膽怯的人說：你們要剛強，不要懼怕。看哪，你們的神必來報仇，必來施行極大的報應；他必來拯救你們。

歡歡喜喜地守除酵節七日；因為耶和華使他們歡喜，又使亞述王的心轉向他們，堅固他們的手，作以色列神殿的工程。

他對我說：「我的恩典夠你用的，因為我的能力是在人的軟弱上顯得完全。」所以，我更喜歡誇自己的軟弱，好叫基督的能力覆庇我。我為基督的緣故，就以軟弱、凌辱、急難、逼迫、困苦為可喜樂的；因我甚麼時候軟弱，甚麼時候就剛強了。

約拿單說：「我們要過到那些人那裏去，使他們看見我們。他們若對我們說：『你們站住，等我們到你們那裏去』，我們就站住，不上他們那裏去。他們若說：『你們上到我們這裏來』，這話就是我們的證據；我們便上去，因為耶和華將他們交在我們手裏了。」

掃羅的兒子約拿單起身，往那樹林裏去見大衛，使他倚靠神得以堅固，

防兵對約拿單和拿兵器的人說：「你們上到這裏來，我們有一件事指示你們。」約拿單就對拿兵器的人說：「你跟隨我上去，因為耶和華將他們交在以色列人手裏了。」

我向那一個女子說：『請你拿下水瓶來，給我水喝。』她若說：『請喝！我也給你的駱駝喝。』願那女子就作你所預定給你僕人以撒的妻。這樣，我便知道你施恩給我主人了。」

所以神領百姓繞道而行，走紅海曠野的路。以色列人出埃及地，都帶着兵器上去。

我還有末了的話：你們要靠着主，倚賴他的大能大力作剛強的人。

求他按着他豐盛的榮耀，藉着他的靈，叫你們心裏的力量剛強起來，

他們都要使我們懼怕，意思說，他們的手必軟弱，以致工作不能成就。神啊，求你堅固我的手。
