得聞敵言、則有勇力、可下攻營、遂攜僕普拉而往、至其營隅、近於行伍、

聽眾所言、後即遇敵、可強乃志。其田與其僕部喇遂下、至營之極處、近於行伍。

爾聞米甸人所言、後必有膽、下而攻營、基甸與僕普拉遂下、至營之邊、近於隊伍、

我靠着那加给我能力的，凡事都能作。

基甸到了，就听见一个人正在把他的梦告诉他的同伴，说：“我作了一个梦，梦见一个大麦饼滚入米甸营中，到了帐幕，把帐幕撞倒，帐幕就翻转朝上了。”他的同伴回答：“这不是别的，这是以色列人约阿施的儿子基甸的刀；神已经把米甸和全营交在他手中了。”基甸听见了这梦的叙述和梦的讲解，就敬拜神；然后返回以色列营中，说：“起来，因为耶和华已经把米甸的军队交在你们手里了。”

你们要坚固无力的手，稳固摇动的膝。又对那些忧心的人说：“你们要刚强，不要惧怕。看哪！你们的神，他要来报仇，来施行报应，他必来拯救你们。”

他们欢欢喜喜地守除酵节七天，因为耶和华使他们欢喜，又使亚述王的心转向他们，坚固他们的手作以色列神殿的工程。

他却对我说：“我的恩典是够你用的，因为我的能力在人的软弱上显得完全。”所以，我更喜欢夸自己的软弱，好让基督的能力临到我的身上。因此，我为基督的缘故，就以软弱、凌辱、艰难、迫害、困苦为喜乐，因为我什么时候软弱，什么时候就刚强了。

约拿单说：“我们要过到那些人那里去，让他们看见我们。如果他们对我们这样说：‘你们站住！等我们到你们那里去。’我们就站在原地，不上他们那里去。如果他们对我们这样说：‘你们上到我们这里来吧！’我们就上去，这就是我们的凭据，因为耶和华已经把他们交在我们的手里了。”

扫罗的儿子约拿单起身，到何列斯去见大卫，鼓励他，使他靠神坚强起来，

驻军中有人应声对约拿单和替他拿武器的人说：“你们上我们这里来吧！我们有一件事要告诉你们。”约拿单对替他拿武器的人说：“你跟我上去，因为耶和华已经把他们交在以色列人的手里了。”

我对哪一个少女说：‘请你放下水瓶来，让我喝点水。’如果她回答：‘请喝，我也给你的骆驼喝。’愿那少女就作你选定给你仆人以撒的妻子。这样，我就知道你施慈爱给我的主人了。”

所以神领人民绕道而行，走旷野的路到红海去；以色列人从埃及地上来的时候，都带着兵器。

最后，你们要靠主的大能大力，在他里面刚强。

求他按着他荣耀的丰盛，藉着他的灵，用大能使你们内在的人刚强起来，

其实他们众人是在恐吓我们，心里说：“他们的手必软弱，不能再作这工程，不会完工了！”现在，坚固我的手。
