基甸又对神说：“求你不要向我发怒，我再说一次，让我用羊毛再试一次，但愿羊毛是干的，遍地都有露水。”

基甸又对上帝说：“求你不要发怒，容许我再试一次，这次让羊毛是干的，地面有露水。”

基甸又对神说：“求你不要向我发怒，我要再说这一次；求你让我把羊毛再试一试，但愿单单羊毛是干的，而全地都有露水。”

基甸又謂上帝曰、祈勿我怒、我復進一辭而後已、容再一次試之以毛、我欲羊毛乾燥、而土壤皆霑露、

其田求上帝曰、毋震怒、我敢復進一辭而後已、請再試之、我欲羊毛無露、而四周之土有露。

基甸又禱主曰、求主莫向我震怒、我敢復進一言、再以羊毛試之、願羊毛獨乾、四圍之土悉有露、

Then Gideon said to God,“ Do not be angry with me. Let me make just one more request. Allow me one more test with the fleece, but this time make the fleece dry and let the ground be covered with dew.”

Then Gideon said to God,“ Don’t be angry with me. Let me ask you for just one more thing. Let me use the wool for one more test. But this time make the wool dry. And let the ground be covered with dew.”

Then Gideon said to God,“ Let not your anger burn against me; let me speak just once more. Please let me test just once more with the fleece. Please let it be dry on the fleece only, and on all the ground let there be dew.”

Then Gideon said to God,“ Please don’t be angry with me, but let me make one more request. Let me use the fleece for one more test. This time let the fleece remain dry while the ground around it is wet with dew.”

Gideon then said to God,“ Don’t be angry with me; let me speak one more time. Please allow me to make one more test with the fleece. Let it remain dry, and the dew be all over the ground.”

Then Gideon said to God,“ Do not let Your anger burn against me, so that I may speak only one more time; please let me put You to the test only one more time with the fleece: let it now be dry only on the fleece, and let there be dew on all the ground.”

Then Gideon said to God,“ Do not be angry with me, but let me speak just once more: Let me test, I pray, just once more with the fleece; let it now be dry only on the fleece, but on all the ground let there be dew.”

And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be kindled against me, and I will speak but this once: let me make trial, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.

Gideon then said to God,“ Don’t be angry with me; let me speak one more time. Please allow me to make one more test with the fleece. Let it remain dry, and the dew be all over the ground.”

And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.

Gideon said to God,“ Please do not get angry at me, when I ask for just one more sign. Please allow me one more test with the fleece. This time make only the fleece dry, while the ground around it is covered with dew.”

Gideon said to God,“ Don’t let your anger be kindled against me, and I will speak but this once. Please let me make a trial just this once with the fleece. Let it now be dry only on the fleece, and on all the ground let there be dew.”

Then he said,“ May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?” He answered,“ For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.” (niv)

He turned rivers into a desert, flowing springs into thirsty ground,and fruitful land into a salt waste, because of the wickedness of those who lived there.He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs; (niv)

When I came, why was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Was my arm too short to deliver you? Do I lack the strength to rescue you? By a mere rebuke I dry up the sea, I turn rivers into a desert; their fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst. (niv)

“ Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. (niv)

“ Therefore I want you to know that God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!” (niv)

But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministryin the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them.For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root,do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.You will say then,“ Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.”Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble.For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. (niv)

Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly:“ We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles. (niv)

But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (niv)

Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow. (niv)

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.The wild animals honor me, the jackals and the owls, because I provide water in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland, to give drink to my people, my chosen, (niv)

“ Then the Lord said to me,‘ Go; I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’” (niv)
