故我儕曰、不如築壇、非為燔祭、祀品、但在爾我間、及爾後代我後代間為證、使我役事耶和華、獻燔祭禮物、酬恩之祭於其前、則爾子孫不得謂我子孫云、汝與耶和華無與。故我曰、嗣後如有人以此言委我、或我子孫、則我可語、試視我祖所作耶和華壇之式、非為燔祭祀品、乃在爾我間為證。

在彼築壇、稱其名上帝壇、即以色列之上帝。
