Then Gideon perceived that he was the angel of the Lord. And Gideon said,“ Alas, O Lord God! For now I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face.”

基甸发现他果然是耶和华的天使，便说：“唉！主耶和华啊，不好了，我面对面见了你的天使。”

基甸見他是耶和華的使者，就說：「哀哉！主耶和華啊，我不好了，因為我覿面看見耶和華的使者。」

基甸見他是耶和華的使者，就說：「哎呀！主耶和華啊！因為我真的面對面看見了耶和華的使者。」

基甸發現他果然是耶和華的天使，便說：「唉！主耶和華啊，不好了，我面對面見了你的天使。」

基甸看出他是耶和華的使者，就說：“哀哉，我主耶和華啊，因為我面對面看見了耶和華的使者。”

基甸看出他是永恆主的使者；就說：『哀啊！主永恆主啊，我既面對面地看見永恆主的使者，我活不了啦！』

基甸知為耶和華之使者、曰、哀哉、主耶和華歟、我面晤耶和華之使者矣、

其田乃知誠耶和華之使、則曰、我主耶和華歟、我與耶和華使者晤對、將若何。

基甸見為主之使者曰、哀哉我主天主歟、我甚畏懼、因我面見主之使者矣、

When Gideon realized that it was the angel of the Lord, he exclaimed,“ Alas, Sovereign Lord! I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face!”

Gideon realized it was the angel of the Lord. He cried out,“ Oh no, my Lord and King, I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face!”

When Gideon realized that it was the angel of the Lord, he cried out,“ Oh, Sovereign Lord, I’m doomed! I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face!”

When Gideon realized that he was the angel of the LORD, he said,“ Oh no, Lord GOD! I have seen the angel of the LORD face to face!”

When Gideon perceived that he was the angel of the Lord, he said,“ Oh, Lord God! For I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face!”

Now Gideon perceived that He was the Angel of the Lord. So Gideon said,“ Alas, O Lord GOD! For I have seen the Angel of the Lord face to face.”

And Gideon saw that he was the angel of Jehovah; and Gideon said, Alas, O Lord Jehovah! forasmuch as I have seen the angel of Jehovah face to face.

When Gideon realized that He was the Angel of the Lord, he said,“ Oh no, Lord God! I have seen the Angel of the Lord face to face!”

And when Gideon perceived that he[ was] an angel of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord GOD! for because I have seen an angel of the LORD face to face.

When Gideon realized that it was the LORD’s messenger, he said,“ Oh no! Master, LORD! I have seen the LORD’s messenger face to face!”

Gideon saw that he was Yahweh’s angel; and Gideon said,“ Alas, Lord Yahweh! Because I have seen Yahweh’s angel face to face!”

But,” he said,“ you cannot see my face, for man shall not see me and live.”

So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, saying,“ For I have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.”

For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of fire as we have, and has still lived?

while I stood between the Lord and you at that time, to declare to you the word of the Lord. For you were afraid because of the fire, and you did not go up into the mountain. He said:

So she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her,“ You are a God of seeing,” for she said,“ Truly here I have seen him who looks after me.”

And you said,‘ Behold, the Lord our God has shown us his glory and greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire. This day we have seen God speak with man, and man still live.

And I said:“ Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar.And he touched my mouth and said:“ Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.”And I heard the voice of the Lord saying,“ Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said,“ Here I am! Send me.”

No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known.

The angel of the Lord appeared no more to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was the angel of the Lord.And Manoah said to his wife,“ We shall surely die, for we have seen God.”But his wife said to him,“ If the Lord had meant to kill us, he would not have accepted a burnt offering and a grain offering at our hands, or shown us all these things, or now announced to us such things as these.”

Isaiah said these things because he saw his glory and spoke of him.
