曰、我若蒙恩於爾前、求示我以徵、俾知與我言者為爾也、

曰如我蒙恩於爾前、請示以徵、則知爾誠諭我者也。

曰、如我蒙恩於主前、求主示我以證、使我知與我言者誠主也、或作使我知主真與我言

Gideon replied,“ If now I have found favor in your eyes, give me a sign that it is really you talking to me.

Gideon replied,“ If you are pleased with me, give me a special sign. Then I’ll know that it’s really you talking to me.

And he said to him,“ If now I have found favor in your eyes, then show me a sign that it is you who speak with me.

Gideon replied,“ If you are truly going to help me, show me a sign to prove that it is really the Lord speaking to me.

Then he said to him,“ If I have found favor with you, give me a sign that you are speaking with me.

So Gideon said to Him,“ If now I have found favor in Your sight, then perform for me a sign that it is You speaking with me.

Then he said to Him,“ If now I have found favor in Your sight, then show me a sign that it is You who talk with me.

And he said unto him, If now I have found favor in thy sight, then show me a sign that it is thou that talkest with me.

Then he said to Him,“ If I have found favor in Your sight, give me a sign that You are speaking with me.

And he said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, then shew me a sign that thou talkest with me.

Gideon said to him,“ If you really are pleased with me, then give me a sign as proof that it is really you speaking with me.

He said to him,“ If now I have found favor in your sight, then show me a sign that it is you who talk with me.

求你向我顯出恩寵的標記，願恨我的人看見就蒙羞；因為你耶和華幫助我、安慰我。

「你為自己向耶和華你的神求一個徵兆吧——或往深求，深如陰間，或往高求，高如上天。」

亞伯蘭說：「主耶和華啊，我怎能知道我會擁有這地呢？」耶和華就對他說：「你為我取來一頭三歲的小母牛、一隻三歲的母山羊、一隻三歲的公綿羊、一隻斑鳩和一隻雛鴿。」他就為耶和華取來這一切，把每樣都從中間剖開，一半對著另一半擺列，但沒有把鳥剖開。有猛禽飛落在這些屍體上，亞伯蘭就趕走牠們。日落的時候，亞伯蘭陷入沉睡。看哪，有大而恐怖的黑暗落在他身上！耶和華對亞伯蘭說：「你要確切知道：你的後裔將在不屬於自己的地上寄居，並服事那地的人；那地的人將苦待他們四百年。但我將審判他們所服事的那個國家；此後他們將帶著大量的財物出來。至於你，你必平平安安地歸到你祖先那裡，你必盡享天年，才被安葬。他們到第四代才會回到這裡，因為亞摩利人的罪孽還沒有滿盈。」日落天黑的時候，看哪，有冒煙的火爐和燃燒的火把在這些肉塊之間經過！
