I said to you,“ I am Yahweh your God. You shall not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.” But you have not listened to my voice.’”

and I said unto you, I am Jehovah your God; ye shall not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell. But ye have not hearkened unto my voice.

I said to you: I am Yahweh your God. Do not fear the gods of the Amorites whose land you live in. But you did not obey Me.’”

And I said unto you, I[ am] the LORD your God; fear not the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but ye have not obeyed my voice.

I said to you,“ I am the LORD your God! Do not worship the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are now living!” But you have disobeyed me.’”

Yahweh says,“ Don’t learn the way of the nations, and don’t be dismayed at the signs of the sky; for the nations are dismayed at them.

with whom Yahweh had made a covenant, and commanded them, saying,“ You shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them;but you shall fear Yahweh, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and with an outstretched arm, and you shall bow yourselves to him, and you shall sacrifice to him.The statutes and the ordinances, and the law and the commandment, which he wrote for you, you shall observe to do forever more. You shall not fear other gods.You shall not forget the covenant that I have made with you. You shall not fear other gods.But you shall fear Yahweh your God, and he will deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.”

neither have I obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor turned my ear to those who instructed me!

Only acknowledge your iniquity, that you have transgressed against Yahweh your God, and have scattered your ways to the strangers under every green tree, and you have not obeyed my voice,’ says Yahweh.”

Let us lie down in our shame, and let our confusion cover us; for we have sinned against Yahweh our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day. We have not obeyed Yahweh our God’s voice.”

You shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land. You shall break down their altars.’ But you have not listened to my voice. Why have you done this?

and they came into the land of Egypt; for they didn’t obey Yahweh’s voice: and they came to Tahpanhes.

They feared Yahweh, and also served their own gods, after the ways of the nations from among whom they had been carried away.

So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, didn’t obey Yahweh’s voice, to dwell in the land of Judah.

Yahweh says,“ Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein,

“ I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.“ You shall have no other gods before me.
