[ They that are delivered] from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD,[ even] the righteous acts[ toward the inhabitants] of his villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates.

Far from the noise of the archers, among the watering places, There they shall recount the righteous acts of the Lord, The righteous acts for His villagers in Israel; Then the people of the Lord shall go down to the gates.

Far from the noise of archers, in the places of drawing water, There shall they rehearse the righteous acts of Jehovah, Even the righteous acts of his rule in Israel. Then the people of Jehovah went down to the gates.

Let them tell the righteous acts of the Lord, the righteous deeds of His warriors in Israel, with the voices of the singers at the watering places. Then the Lord’s people went down to the gates.

Hear the sound of those who divide the sheep among the watering places; there they tell of the Lord’s victorious deeds, the victorious deeds of his warriors in Israel. Then the LORD’s people went down to the city gates–

O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.

And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac’s herdmen, saying, The water[ is] ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him.And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name of it Sitnah.And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.

When I went out to the gate through the city,[ when] I prepared my seat in the street!

They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

We gat our bread with[ the peril of] our lives because of the sword of the wilderness.

Stand in the gate of the LORD’S house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all[ ye of] Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.

And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
