I will lead Sisera, the commander of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his troops to the Kishon River and give him into your hands.’”

Then I will lure Sisera commander of Jabin’s army, his chariots, and his infantry at the Wadi Kishon to fight against you, and I will hand him over to you.’”

以利亞謂之曰、爾曹可執巴力之諸先知、勿使一人逃遁、遂執之、以利亞攜至基順溪、盡殺之、

基順河沖沒敵人、此基順古河沖沒有其眾、我心覺蹂躪勇士、

若非有心殺人、乃天主偶付於其手、我必設一處、使可逃避、

主諭約書亞曰、勿因之而懼、明日此時、我將斯眾付於以色列人、俱為其所殺、爾當傷其馬之足、以火焚其車輛、

今日爾可知、爾在穴中主付爾於我手、亦有人勸我殺爾、惟我惜爾、自言不敢舉手害我主王、蓋爾為主所立受膏者也、

其時爾從伏處而出、以取其邑、蓋主爾之天主必以邑付於爾手、

主天主如是云、當是時爾心將起惡念、生惡謀、曰、我必侵伐無城郭之處、攻擊安居無慮之民、彼無城郭而居、無門無楗、昔荒蕪、今有人居處之地、其民集自列邦、養牲貿易、貿易或作獲財安居斯地、斯地原文作地之高處爾欲攻斯民、攘奪刧掠其物、示巴人、底但人、他施商賈、與其似壯獅之勇士、將詰爾曰、爾來、欲攘奪乎、爾集斯眾、欲刧掠乎、欲強取金銀、擄掠牲畜與貨財、攘奪多物乎、人子歟、爾當述預言、告歌革曰、主天主如是云、當是時我民以色列正得安居、爾知之、遂自故土、自極北之地而來、率民族眾多、皆乘馬、極大之軍眾、歌革歟、爾必至、攻擊我民以色列、勢若雲之覆地、末日必有斯事、我任爾來攻擊我地、是時我懲罰爾、以顯我聖、異邦人無不目睹、使彼俱識我、

爾今日使我知爾待我以善、主付我於爾手、爾不殺我、

我使法老剛愎其心、追以色列人、我則因法老與其全軍而獲大榮、俾伊及人知我乃主、以色列人遂如此行、

主諭約書亞曰、勿懼之、我以斯眾付爾手、其中無一人能禦爾者、

求主待之如昔日待米甸人、如待西西拉與耶賓在基順水、皆滅亡在音多珥、屍骸皆成地上之糞、

四周之異邦、合集速至、主歟、使主之勇士亦降臨在彼、列邦之人當興起、至約沙法谷、在彼、我將坐以鞫四周之異邦、禾稼已熟、當刈以鐮、壓酒處已盈、當至以踐葡萄、或作爾曹可施鐮刀因禾稼已熟爾曹皆來踐葡萄因壓酒處已滿巨甕已洋溢、萬民之罪惡極大、亦是若、眾庶無數、集於審判谷、主在審判谷行審判、其日伊邇、

底波拉謂巴拉曰、爾起、主已導於爾前、今日將以西西拉付於爾手、巴拉下他泊山、一萬人隨之、

蓋主使其使其或作聽其剛愎厥心、與以色列人戰、而為以色列人所滅、不蒙憐恤、乃至勦除、循主諭摩西之命、
