“ I’m thirsty,” he said.“ Please give me some water.” She opened a skin of milk, gave him a drink, and covered him up.

See, I am standing beside this spring. If a young woman comes out to draw water and I say to her,“ Please let me drink a little water from your jar,” (niv)

So he went to Zarephath. When he came to the town gate, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her and asked,“ Would you bring me a little water in a jar so I may have a drink?” (niv)

When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her,“ Will you give me a drink?” (niv)
