They asked,“ Which city among the tribes of Israel didn’t come to the LORD at Mizpah?” It turned out that no one from Jabesh-gilead had come to the camp and the assembly.

他们又查问各支派中谁没有到米斯巴聚集在耶和华面前，结果发现基列·雅比人缺席，

他们又彼此问：“以色列各支派中，有谁没有上米斯巴到耶和华面前来的呢？”他们就发现基列．雅比中没有一人去到营中会众那里。

他們又查問各支派中誰沒有到米斯巴聚集在耶和華面前，結果發現基列·雅比人缺席，

他們又彼此問：“以色列各支派中，有誰沒有上米斯巴到耶和華面前來的呢？”他們就發現基列．雅比中沒有一人去到營中會眾那裡。

以色列人就彼此對問說：『以色列族派中哪一個人沒有上米斯巴到永恆主面前呢？』就查出基列雅比沒有一個人進營到大眾中；

又曰、以色列支派中、孰不上米斯巴、詣耶和華乎、察知基列雅比無人入營與會、

又曰、以色列支派中、孰不至米斯巴、詣耶和華前乎。核數其民、乃知基列之雅疋、不至營壘、入於會中。

又問曰、以色列支派中、誰不上米斯巴至主前乎、察之、乃知基列之雅比無一人詣營、入於會中、

Then they asked,“ Which one of the tribes of Israel failed to assemble before the Lord at Mizpah?” They discovered that no one from Jabesh Gilead had come to the camp for the assembly.

Then they asked,“ Has any tribe of Israel failed to come here to Mizpah in front of the Lord?” They discovered that no one from Jabesh Gilead had come. No one from there had gathered together with the others in the camp.

And they said,“ What one is there of the tribes of Israel that did not come up to the Lord to Mizpah?” And behold, no one had come to the camp from Jabesh-gilead, to the assembly.

So they asked,“ Who among the tribes of Israel did not join us at Mizpah when we assembled in the presence of the Lord?” And they discovered that no one from Jabesh gilead had attended the assembly.

And they said,“ What one is there of the tribes of Israel that did not go up to the Lord at Mizpah?” And behold, no one had come to the camp from Jabesh gilead to the assembly.

And they said,“ What one is there from the tribes of Israel who did not come up to Mizpah to the Lord?” And, in fact, no one had come to the camp from Jabesh Gilead to the assembly.

And they said, What one is there of the tribes of Israel that came not up unto Jehovah to Mizpah? And, behold, there came none to the camp from Jabesh- gilead to the assembly.

They asked,“ Which city among the tribes of Israel didn’t come to the Lord at Mizpah?” It turned out that no one from Jabesh-gilead had come to the camp and the assembly.

And they said, What one[ is there] of the tribes of Israel that came not up to Mizpeh to the LORD? And, behold, there came none to the camp from Jabeshgilead to the assembly.

So they asked,“ Who from all the Israelite tribes did not assemble before the LORD at Mizpah?” Now it just so happened no one from Jabesh Gilead had come to the gathering.

They said,“ What one is there of the tribes of Israel who didn’t come up to Yahweh to Mizpah?” Behold, no one came from Jabesh Gilead to the camp to the assembly.

When the residents of Jabesh-gilead heard what the Philistines had done to Saul,all their brave men set out, journeyed all night, and retrieved the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Beth-shan. When they arrived at Jabesh, they burned the bodies there.Afterward, they took their bones and buried them under the tamarisk tree in Jabesh and fasted seven days.

Nahash the Ammonite came up and laid siege to Jabesh-gilead. All the men of Jabesh said to him,“ Make a treaty with us, and we will serve you.”Nahash the Ammonite replied,“ I’ll make one with you on this condition: that I gouge out everyone’s right eye and humiliate all Israel.”“ Don’t do anything to us for seven days,” the elders of Jabesh said to him,“ and let us send messengers throughout the territory of Israel. If no one saves us, we will surrender to you.”

David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh-gilead and said to them,“ The LORD bless you because you have shown this kindness to Saul your lord when you buried him.Now, may the LORD show kindness and faithfulness to you, and I will also show the same goodness to you because you have done this deed.
