“耶和华啊！即使我们的罪孽指证我们，还求你因你名的缘故施行拯救。我们实在多次背道，得罪了你。

他虽然使人忧愁，却必照着他丰盛的慈爱施怜悯。

耶和华啊！我听见你的声音，惧怕你的作为；求你在这些年间复兴，在这些年间彰显，发怒的时候以怜悯为怀。

他不长久责备，也不永远怀怒。他没有按着我们的罪过待我们，也没有照着我们的罪孽报应我们。

全体会众又派人到临门的磐石那里，对便雅悯人说话，向他们宣告和平。

若不是万军之耶和华给我们留下一些生还者，我们早已像所多玛、蛾摩拉一样了。
