Now turn those wicked men of Gibeah over to us so that we may put them to death and purge the evil from Israel.” But the Benjamites would not listen to their fellow Israelites.

Hand over to us those evil men of Gibeah. We’ll put them to death. In that way we’ll get rid of those evil people.” But the people of Benjamin wouldn’t listen to the other Israelites.

Now therefore give up the men, the worthless fellows in Gibeah, that we may put them to death and purge evil from Israel.” But the Benjaminites would not listen to the voice of their brothers, the people of Israel.

Give up those evil men, those troublemakers from Gibeah, so we can execute them and purge Israel of this evil.” But the people of Benjamin would not listen.

Now, hand over the good-for-nothings in Gibeah so we can execute them and purge Israel of wickedness.” But the Benjaminites refused to listen to their Israelite brothers.

但無賴全都像被丟棄的荊棘；它們不能用手去拿；

話不是這麼說的，只是因為有一個以法蓮山區的人，就是比基利的兒子名叫示巴，他舉手攻擊大衛王；你們只要把他一人交出來，我就離城而去。」婦人對約押說：「看哪，他的首級必從城牆上丟給你。」婦人憑她的智慧去勸眾百姓，他們就割下比基利的兒子示巴的首級，丟給約押。約押吹角，眾人就離城散開，各回自己的帳棚去了。約押回耶路撒冷，到王那裏。

有些無賴的歹徒聚集跟從他，逞強攻擊所羅門的兒子羅波安；那時羅波安還年輕，心志軟弱，不能抵擋他們。

他們深深敗壞，如在基比亞的日子一樣。耶和華必記起他們的罪孽，懲罰他們的罪惡。

有兩個無賴來，坐在拿伯對面。無賴當着百姓作證告他說：「拿伯詛咒上帝和王了！」眾人就把他拉到城外，用石頭打他，他就死了。

證人要先動手，然後眾百姓也動手把他處死。這樣，你就把惡從你中間除掉。

然後，城裏的眾人就要用石頭將他打死。這樣，你就把惡從你中間除掉，全以色列聽見了都要害怕。」

人若得罪人，有上帝可以裁決；人若得罪耶和華，誰能為他代求呢？」然而他們還是不聽父親的話，因為耶和華想要他們死。

人屢次受責罰，仍然硬着頸項，他必頃刻被毀，無從醫治。

所以，當從心中除掉愁煩，從肉體除去痛苦；因為年少和年輕之時，全是虛空。

以色列啊，你從基比亞的日子以來就時常犯罪，他們仍停留在那裏。攻擊罪孽之輩的戰事豈不會臨到基比亞嗎？

跟隨大衛去的人中，每一個惡人和無賴都說：「這些人既然沒有和我同去，我們所奪的財物就不分給他們，只把他們各人的妻子兒女給他們，讓他們帶回去就好了。」

先知與王說話的時候，王對他說：「難道我們立你作王的謀士嗎？你住口吧！為何要挨打呢？」先知就止住了，卻說：「我知道上帝已定意要消滅你，因為你行這事，不聽從我的勸戒。」

他們雖知道上帝判定做這樣事的人是該死的，然而他們不但自己去做，還贊同別人去做。

那先知或那做夢的人要被處死，因為他出言悖逆那領你們出埃及地、救贖你脫離為奴之家的耶和華－你們的上帝，要引誘你離開耶和華－你上帝吩咐你要行的道。這樣，你就把惡從你中間除掉。

你們就要把這二人帶到那城的城門口，用石頭打死他們。處死女子是因為她雖然在城裏，卻沒有喊叫；處死男子是因為他玷污了鄰舍的妻子。這樣，你就把惡從你中間除掉。

你們就要對付他如同他想要對付的弟兄一樣。這樣，你就把惡從你中間除掉。

在那裏恰巧有一個無賴，名叫示巴，是便雅憫人比基利的兒子。他吹角，說：「我們與大衛無份，與耶西的兒子無關。以色列啊，各回自己的帳棚去吧！」

我又聽見另一個聲音從天上說：「我的民哪，從那城出來吧！免得和她在罪上有份，受她所受的災殃；因她的罪惡滔天，上帝已經記得她的不義。

亞瑪謝卻不肯聽從。這是出乎上帝，好將他們交在敵人手裏，因為他們尋求以東的神明。

他們就要把這女子帶到她父家的門口，城裏的人要用石頭打死她，因為她在父家犯了淫亂，在以色列中做了可恥的事。這樣，你就把惡從你中間除掉。

「若發現有人綁架以色列人中的一個弟兄，把他當奴隸對待，或把他賣了，那綁架人的就必處死。這樣，你就把惡從你中間除掉。
