Then all the people of Israel came out, from Dan to Beersheba, including the land of Gilead, and the congregation assembled as one man to the Lord at Mizpah.

Then all Israel from Dan to Beersheba and from the land of Gilead came together as one and assembled before the Lord in Mizpah.

Then all the Israelites came out. They came from the whole land between Dan and Beersheba. They also came from the land of Gilead. All of them gathered together in front of the Lord at Mizpah.

Then all the Israelites were united as one man, from Dan in the north to Beersheba in the south, including those from across the Jordan in the land of Gilead. The entire community assembled in the presence of the Lord at Mizpah.

All the Israelites from Dan to Beer-sheba and from the land of Gilead came out, and the community assembled as one body before the LORD at Mizpah.

Then all the sons of Israel from Dan to Beersheba, including the land of Gilead, came out, and the congregation assembled as one person to the Lord at Mizpah.

So all the children of Israel came out, from Dan to Beersheba, as well as from the land of Gilead, and the congregation gathered together as one man before the Lord at Mizpah.

And when the people of Israel heard of it, the whole assembly of the people of Israel gathered at Shiloh to make war against them.

And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established as a prophet of the Lord.

And the people of Israel said,“ Which of all the tribes of Israel did not come up in the assembly to the Lord?” For they had taken a great oath concerning him who did not come up to the Lord to Mizpah, saying,“ He shall surely be put to death.”

So the king said to Joab, the commander of the army, who was with him,“ Go through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan to Beersheba, and number the people, that I may know the number of the people.”

And all the people gathered as one man into the square before the Water Gate. And they told Ezra the scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses that the Lord had commanded Israel.

Then Samuel said,“ Gather all Israel at Mizpah, and I will pray to the Lord for you.”So they gathered at Mizpah and drew water and poured it out before the Lord and fasted on that day and said there,“ We have sinned against the Lord.” And Samuel judged the people of Israel at Mizpah.

So they decreed to make a proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba to Dan, that the people should come and keep the Passover to the Lord, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem, for they had not kept it as often as prescribed.

Then allotment was made to the people of Manasseh, for he was the firstborn of Joseph. To Machir the firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead, were allotted Gilead and Bashan, because he was a man of war.

and he made him king over Gilead and the Ashurites and Jezreel and Ephraim and Benjamin and all Israel.

Then all the people of Israel, the whole army, went up and came to Bethel and wept. They sat there before the Lord and fasted that day until evening, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord.

And he swayed the heart of all the men of Judah as one man, so that they sent word to the king,“ Return, both you and all your servants.”

And they named the city Dan, after the name of Dan their ancestor, who was born to Israel; but the name of the city was Laish at the first.

When the seventh month came, and the children of Israel were in the towns, the people gathered as one man to Jerusalem.

The people of Israel arose and went up to Bethel and inquired of God,“ Who shall go up first for us to fight against the people of Benjamin?” And the Lord said,“ Judah shall go up first.”

Then the Ammonites were called to arms, and they encamped in Gilead. And the people of Israel came together, and they encamped at Mizpah.

So David said to Joab and the commanders of the army,“ Go, number Israel, from Beersheba to Dan, and bring me a report, that I may know their number.”

So all the men of Israel gathered against the city, united as one man.

Now when all the captains and their men heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah governor, they came with their men to Gedaliah at Mizpah, namely, Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of the Maacathite.

And all the people arose as one man, saying,“ None of us will go to his tent, and none of us will return to his house.

And the chiefs of all the people, of all the tribes of Israel, presented themselves in the assembly of the people of God, 400,000 men on foot that drew the sword.

Now the people of Reuben and the people of Gad had a very great number of livestock. And they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, and behold, the place was a place for livestock.

He took a yoke of oxen and cut them in pieces and sent them throughout all the territory of Israel by the hand of the messengers, saying,“ Whoever does not come out after Saul and Samuel, so shall it be done to his oxen!” Then the dread of the Lord fell upon the people, and they came out as one man.When he mustered them at Bezek, the people of Israel were three hundred thousand, and the men of Judah thirty thousand.

“ If you hear in one of your cities, which the Lord your God is giving you to dwell there,that certain worthless fellows have gone out among you and have drawn away the inhabitants of their city, saying,‘ Let us go and serve other gods,’ which you have not known,then you shall inquire and make search and ask diligently. And behold, if it be true and certain that such an abomination has been done among you,you shall surely put the inhabitants of that city to the sword, devoting it to destruction, all who are in it and its cattle, with the edge of the sword.You shall gather all its spoil into the midst of its open square and burn the city and all its spoil with fire, as a whole burnt offering to the Lord your God. It shall be a heap forever. It shall not be built again.None of the devoted things shall stick to your hand, that the Lord may turn from the fierceness of his anger and show you mercy and have compassion on you and multiply you, as he swore to your fathers,if you obey the voice of the Lord your God, keeping all his commandments that I am commanding you today, and doing what is right in the sight of the Lord your God.
