因此我又说：‘我必不将他们从你们面前赶出；他们必作你们肋下的荆棘。他们的神必作你们的网罗。’”

因此，我告诉你们，我必不赶走这里的居民，他们必成为你们肋旁的刺，他们的神明必成为你们的网罗。”

因此我又说：‘我必不把他们从你们面前赶走，他们要作你们的敌人（按照《马索拉文本》，“敌人”作“边旁”，意思不明确，或译﹕“网罗”﹔现参照各古译本翻译），他们的神要作你们的网罗。’”

故我又曰、必不逐斯民於爾前、彼將為爾脇下之棘、其神將為爾擭、

故我有言、必不驅逐斯民、使彼為肘下之棘、彼之上帝陷爾於坎阱。

今我有言曰、必不驅逐斯民於爾前、被為荊棘於爾脇、或作為攻爾之敵彼之諸神、必陷爾於網羅、

And I have also said,‘ I will not drive them out before you; they will become traps for you, and their gods will become snares to you.’”

I have said something else. I said,‘ I will not drive out those people to make room for you. They and their gods will become traps for you.’ ”

So now I say, I will not drive them out before you, but they shall become thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare to you.”

So now I declare that I will no longer drive out the people living in your land. They will be thorns in your sides, and their gods will be a constant temptation to you.”

Therefore, I now say: I will not drive out these people before you. They will be thorns in your sides, and their gods will be a trap for you.”

Therefore I also said,‘ I will not drive them out from you; but they will become like thorns in your sides, and their gods will be a snare to you.’ ”

Therefore I also said,‘ I will not drive them out before you; but they shall be thorns in your side, and their gods shall be a snare to you.’”

Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.

Therefore, I now say: I will not drive out these people before you. They will be thorns in your sides, and their gods will be a trap for you.”

At that time I also warned you,‘ If you disobey, I will not drive out the Canaanites before you. They will ensnare you and their gods will lure you away.’”

Therefore I also said,‘ I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be in your sides, and their gods will be a snare to you.’”

你们要确实知道，耶和华你们的神必不再将他们从你们眼前赶出；他们却要成为你们的网罗、机槛、肋上的鞭、眼中的刺，直到你们在耶和华你们神所赐的这美地上灭亡。

倘若你们不赶出那地的居民，所容留的居民就必作你们眼中的刺，肋下的荆棘，也必在你们所住的地上扰害你们。

耶和华你神所要交给你的一切人民，你要将他们除灭；你眼不可顾惜他们。你也不可侍奉他们的神，因这必成为你的网罗。

侍奉他们的偶像，这就成了自己的网罗，

娶他们的女儿为妻，将自己的女儿嫁给他们的儿子，并侍奉他们的神。

他们不可住在你的地上，恐怕他们使你得罪我。你若侍奉他们的神，这必成为你的网罗。”

所以约书亚死的时候所剩下的各族，我必不再从他们面前赶出，

你要谨慎，不可与你所去那地的居民立约，恐怕成为你们中间的网罗；

所罗门王在法老的女儿之外，又宠爱许多外邦女子，就是摩押女子、亚扪女子、以东女子、西顿女子、赫人女子。论到这些国的人，耶和华曾晓谕以色列人说：“你们不可与她们往来相通，因为她们必诱惑你们的心去随从她们的神。”所罗门却恋爱这些女子。所罗门有妃七百，都是公主；还有嫔三百。这些妃嫔诱惑他的心。所罗门年老的时候，他的妃嫔诱惑他的心去随从别神，不效法他父亲大卫诚诚实实地顺服耶和华他的神。因为所罗门随从西顿人的女神亚斯他录和亚扪人可憎的神米勒公。所罗门行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，不效法他父亲大卫专心顺从耶和华。所罗门为摩押可憎的神基抹和亚扪人可憎的神摩洛，在耶路撒冷对面的山上建筑邱坛。
