The LORD was furious with Israel. He said,“ This nation has violated the terms of the agreement I made with their ancestors by disobeying me.

於是永恆主向以色列人發怒，說：『這國的人對我的約、我所吩咐他們祖宗守的、既越犯了，不聽我的聲音，

耶和華怒以色列人曰、斯民乃背我命其祖所守之約、不聽我言、

耶和華震怒曰、昔我與以色列族之祖立約、惟彼違逆、不遵我命、

於是主怒以色列人曰、斯民背我與其列祖所立之約、不聽從我言、

Therefore the Lord was very angry with Israel and said,“ Because this nation has violated the covenant I ordained for their ancestors and has not listened to me,

So the Lord became very angry with the Israelites. He said,“ This nation has broken my covenant. I made it with their people of long ago. But this nation has not listened to me.

So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he said,“ Because this people have transgressed my covenant that I commanded their fathers and have not obeyed my voice,

So the Lord burned with anger against Israel. He said,“ Because these people have violated my covenant, which I made with their ancestors, and have ignored my commands,

The LORD’s anger burned against Israel, and he declared,“ Because this nation has violated my covenant that I made with their ancestors and disobeyed me,

So the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and He said,“ Because this nation has violated My covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not listened to My voice,

Then the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel; and He said,“ Because this nation has transgressed My covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not heeded My voice,

And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel; and he said, Because this nation have transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;

The Lord’s anger burned against Israel, and He declared,“ Because this nation has violated My covenant that I made with their fathers and disobeyed Me,

And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;

Yahweh’s anger burned against Israel; and he said,“ Because this nation transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not listened to my voice,

The LORD was furious with Israel and handed them over to robbers who plundered them. He turned them over to their enemies who lived around them. They could not withstand their enemies’ attacks.

If you violate the covenantal laws of the LORD your God which he commanded you to keep, and follow, worship, and bow down to other gods, the LORD will be very angry with you and you will disappear quickly from the good land which he gave to you.”

It will not be like the old covenant that I made with their ancestors when I delivered them from Egypt. For they violated that covenant, even though I was like a faithful husband to them,” says the LORD.

Moses came and told the people all the LORD’s words and all the decisions. All the people answered together,“ We are willing to do all the words that the LORD has said,”and Moses wrote down all the words of the LORD. Early in the morning he built an altar at the foot of the mountain and arranged twelve standing stones– according to the twelve tribes of Israel.He sent young Israelite men, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls for peace offerings to the LORD.Moses took half of the blood and put it in bowls, and half of the blood he splashed on the altar.He took the Book of the Covenant and read it aloud to the people, and they said,“ We are willing to do and obey all that the LORD has spoken.”So Moses took the blood and splashed it on the people and said,“ This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words.”

The people said to Joshua,“ No! We really will worship the LORD!”Joshua said to the people,“ Do you agree to be witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen to worship the LORD?” They replied,“ We are witnesses!”Joshua said,“ Now put aside the foreign gods that are among you and submit to the LORD God of Israel.”The people said to Joshua,“ We will worship the LORD our God and obey him.”That day Joshua drew up an agreement for the people, and he established rules and regulations for them in Shechem.

The LORD was furious with Israel and turned them over to the Philistines and Ammonites.

So now, leave me alone so that my anger can burn against them and I can destroy them, and I will make from you a great nation.”But Moses sought the favor of the LORD his God and said,“ O LORD, why does your anger burn against your people, whom you have brought out from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

The LORD was furious with Israel and turned them over to King Cushan-Rishathaim of Aram-Naharaim. They were Cushan-Rishathaim’s subjects for eight years.

For a fire has been kindled by my anger, and it burns to lowest Sheol; it consumes the earth and its produce, and ignites the foundations of the mountains.

You are standing today, all of you, before the LORD your God– the heads of your tribes, your elders, your officials, every Israelite man,your infants, your wives, and the foreigners living in your encampment, those who chop wood and those who carry water–so that you may enter by oath into the covenant the LORD your God is making with you today.Today he will affirm that you are his people and that he is your God, just as he promised you and as he swore by oath to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

I will make you pass under the shepherd’s staff, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.
