他們心裏正高興的時候，就說：『叫參孫來，在我們面前耍耍把戲。』於是把參孫從監獄裏提出來；參孫就在眾人面前耍把戲。他們又叫他站在兩根柱子中間。

有酒使人的心歡喜，使他臉面油潤、煥發光輝，又有食物給人做點心。

就在那時就發生了大地震；那城有十分之一倒壞了。在地震中遭難而死的人有七千名；其餘的人都很懼怕，就把榮耀獻與天上的上帝。

示劍人出去到田野間，割取葡萄，踹酒，開嬉樂節會，進他們的神廟裏喫喝，咒罵亞比米勒。
