「不可心裏恨你的弟兄；要指摘你的鄰舍，免得因他承擔罪過。

耶和華說：「人若休妻，妻離他而去，做了別人的妻子，前夫豈能再回到她那裏呢？那地豈不是大大污穢了嗎？但你和許多情郎行淫，還是可以回到我這裏。這是耶和華說的。

上帝因他去就怒氣發作；耶和華的使者站在路中間敵對他。他騎着驢，有兩個僕人跟隨他。

然後對耶穌說：「老師，這女人是正在犯姦淫的時候被捉到的。摩西在律法書上命令我們把這樣的女人用石頭打死。那麼，你怎麼說呢？」

弟兄們，若有人偶然被過犯所勝，你們屬靈的人就要用溫柔的心把他挽回過來；自己也要留意，免得也被引誘。
