其人不欲復宿、乃備二驢、攜妾啟行、至耶布斯即耶路撒冷相對之所、

But, unwilling to stay another night, the man left and went toward Jebus( that is, Jerusalem), with his two saddled donkeys and his concubine.

But the man didn’t want to stay another night. So he left. He went toward Jebus. Jebus is also called Jerusalem. The Levite had his two donkeys and his concubine with him. The donkeys had saddles on them.

But the man would not spend the night. He rose up and departed and arrived opposite Jebus( that is, Jerusalem). He had with him a couple of saddled donkeys, and his concubine was with him.

由此而往欣嫩子谷、至耶布斯、即耶路撒冷之南、上及欣嫩谷西之山巔、在利乏音谷之北極、

居耶路撒冷之耶布斯人、猶大人不能逐之、與之同居耶路撒冷、至於今日、

猶大人攻耶路撒冷取之、擊之以刃、燬之以火、

大衛與以色列眾至耶路撒冷、即耶布斯、時、耶布斯土人居彼、耶布斯人謂大衛曰、爾必不得入此、然大衛取錫安之保障、即大衛城、

王及從者往耶路撒冷、攻斯土之耶布斯人、耶布斯人謂大衛曰、爾必不得入此、瞽者跛者必逐爾、意謂大衛不能入也、

洗拉、以利弗、耶布斯、即耶路撒冷、基比亞、基列、共十四邑、與其鄉里、此乃便雅憫裔之業、循其室家、
