所羅門娶七百個公主，三百個妃嬪。這些妻妾誘惑他的心。

大衛王來到耶路撒冷，進了宮，就把從前留下看守宮殿的十個妃嬪軟禁在冷宮，養活她們，卻不與她們親近。她們被關起來，活着如同寡婦，直到死的日子。

拿鶴的妾名叫流瑪，她也生了提八、迦含、他轄和瑪迦。

以法蓮山區有一個人，名叫米迦。

大衛離開希伯崙之後，在耶路撒冷又立后妃，又生兒女。

約押進了宮到王那裏，說：「你今日使你眾臣僕的臉面羞愧了！他們今日救了你的性命和你兒女妻妾的性命，

拉結死了，葬在往以法他的路旁；以法他就是伯利恆。

羅波安有十八個妻和六十個妾，生了二十八個兒子，六十個女兒；他卻愛押沙龍的女兒瑪迦，過於愛其他的妻妾。

以色列人把他葬在他自己地業的境內，以法蓮山區的亭拿‧西拉，在迦實山的北邊。

於是他們為押沙龍在屋頂上支搭帳棚，押沙龍就在以色列眾人眼前，與他父親的妃嬪親近。

『猶大地的伯利恆啊，你在猶大諸城中並不是最小的；因為將來有一位統治者要從你那裏出來，牧養我以色列民。』」

至於亞伯拉罕妾的兒子，亞伯拉罕趁着自己還活着的時候把財物分給他們，打發他們離開他的兒子以撒，往東方去，直到東方之地。
