大卫王来到耶路撒冷，进了宫殿，就把从前留下看守宫殿的十个妃嫔禁闭在冷宫，养活她们，不与她们亲近。她们如同寡妇被禁，直到死的日子。

拿鹤的妾名叫流玛，生了提八、迦含、他辖，和玛迦。

以法莲山地有一个人名叫米迦。

大卫离开希伯仑之后，在耶路撒冷又立后妃，又生儿女。

约押进去见王，说：“你今日使你一切仆人脸面惭愧了！他们今日救了你的性命和你儿女妻妾的性命，

晚上进去，次日回到女子第二院，交给掌管妃嫔的太监沙甲；除非王喜爱她，再提名召她，就不再进去见王。

虽然神有灵的余力能造多人，他不是单造一人吗？为何只造一人呢？乃是他愿人得虔诚的后裔。所以当谨守你们的心，谁也不可以诡诈待幼年所娶的妻。

拉结死了，葬在以法他的路旁；以法他就是伯利恒。

罗波安娶十八个妻，立六十个妾，生二十八个儿子，六十个女儿；他却爱押沙龙的女儿玛迦，比爱别的妻妾更甚。

以色列人将他葬在他地业的境内，就是在以法莲山地的亭拿西拉，在迦实山的北边。

于是人为押沙龙在宫殿的平顶上支搭帐棚；押沙龙在以色列众人眼前，与他父的妃嫔亲近。

‘犹大地的伯利恒啊，你在犹大诸城中并不是最小的；因为将来有一位君王要从你那里出来，牧养我以色列民。’”

亚伯拉罕把财物分给他庶出的众子，趁着自己还在世的时候打发他们离开他的儿子以撒，往东方去。
