廢棄示羅之帷幕、即天主在人間所設之居所、將民所仰恃為榮耀者、任仇人擄掠、將民所倚賴為光輝者、付於敵人手中、使己民為刀劍所殺、向己子民大震厥怒、

以色列人復行惡於主前、主付之於非利士人手、歷四十年、

匠人手所作石鑿金鑄之偶像、主所憎惡、有隱製而立者、必受咒詛、眾民當應曰、阿們、

及其二子皆挈之以至、此二子、其一摩西命名革順、革順譯即在異邦為旅之義蓋曰、我為旅於異邦也、

在爾曹間、在主爾之天主所賜爾無論何邑中、如有男女作惡於主前、違背主約、往奉事崇拜異邦之神、或日月、或天象星辰、為我所禁者、原文作非我所命者人告爾、爾聞之、則必詳細考察、如得其實、果有此可惡之事行於以色列中、則必將行此惡之男或女、攜於邑門、以石擊死此男或女、當殺之人、必憑二三人為證殺之、不可憑一人為證殺之、殺之之時、證人先擊之、眾民後擊之、如是、除惡於爾中、○

爾於爾地、毋作神像、毋立雕刻之偶像與石像、毋勒像於石、設而拜之、我乃主爾之天主、

賜之以列邦之土地、列民勤勞所得者、俾得而享、緣欲其遵奉主之律例、謹守主之法度、阿勒盧亞、

我知我死後、爾必敗壞、離我所命爾之道、為惡於主前、作事干主震怒、末日禍患必臨及爾曹、

毋為己作偶像、上天下地、與地下水中百物、毋作其像、

主諭摩西曰、爾與列祖偕寢之後、斯民必起、存邪僻之心、往拜異邦之神、即所將往之地、其居民所敬之神、違棄我、背我與彼所立之約、
