There was no one to rescue them because they lived a long way from Sidon and had no relationship with anyone else. The city was in a valley near Beth Rehob. The Danites rebuilt the city and settled there.

他們上去窺探了那地，從尋的曠野到利合，直到哈瑪關口。

他又說：“受壓制的西頓居民哪，你們不再有歡樂了！起來，過到塞浦路斯去！就是在那裡，你們也得不到安息。”

西頓啊，要慚愧！因為大海說過，就是海上的保障說過：“我沒有受過產痛，也沒有生產；我沒有養大過男孩，也沒有撫養過童女。”

現在，如果你們想清楚，一聽見角、笛、琵琶、弦琴、豎琴、風笛和各種樂器的聲音，就俯伏向我所做的像下拜，那還可以。如果你們不下拜，就必立刻扔在烈火的窰中。哪裡有神能救你們脫離我的手呢？”沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌回答王說：“尼布甲尼撒啊！這件事我們無需回答你。如果我們被扔在火窰裡，我們所事奉的神必能拯救我們；王啊！他必拯救我們脫離烈火的窰和你的手。（本節或譯：“如果我們所事奉的神能拯救我們，王啊！他必拯救我們脫離烈火的窰和你的手。”）

耶和華把他們交在以色列人手裡，以色列人就擊殺他們，追趕他們直到西頓大城、米斯利弗．瑪音，以及在東邊的米斯巴谷；以色列人擊殺他們，沒有留下一個。

免得他們像獅子一般把我撕裂，把我撕碎的時候，也沒有人搭救。

忘記神的人哪！你們要思想這事，免得我把你們撕碎，沒有人能搭救。

在那些日子，以色列中沒有王。那時，但支派還在尋找可居住的地業，因為直到那一天，在以色列的眾支派中，但支派仍沒有得著地業。

婢女有兩個兒子；有一天，他們兩人在田裡打架，當時沒有人勸開他們，這個就擊打那個，竟把他打死了。
