“ What do you mean,‘ What’s the matter?’” Micah replied.“ You’ve taken away all the gods I have made, and my priest, and I have nothing left!”

米迦说：“你们带走了我的神像和祭司，把我洗劫一空，还问我想做什么！”

米迦回答：“你们把我所做的神像和我的祭司都带走了，我还有什么呢？你们怎么还问我：‘你作什么’呢？”

米迦說：「你們將我所做的神像和祭司都帶了去，我還有所剩的嗎？怎麼還問我說『做甚麼』呢？」

米迦說：「你們把我所造的神像，還有祭司，都帶走了，我還有甚麼呢？你怎麼還對我說『你在做甚麼』呢？」

米迦說：「你們把我所造的神像，還有祭司，都帶走了，我還有甚麼呢？你怎麼還對我說『你在做甚麼』呢？」

米迦說：「你們帶走了我的神像和祭司，把我洗劫一空，還問我想做什麽！」

米迦回答：“你們把我所做的神像和我的祭司都帶走了，我還有甚麼呢？你們怎麼還問我：‘你作甚麼’呢？”

米迦說：『你們將我所造的神像和那祭司都帶了去，我還有甚麼呢？你們怎麼還問我說作甚麼呢？』

曰、我所作之神像、及所任之祭司、爾攜之去、一無所遺、而問我有何事耶、

曰我所作之上帝像、所任之祭司、爾攜之去、不遺一物、反問我何為耶。

米迦曰、我所作之神像、爾取之、又攜祭司去、一無所留於我者、反問何事耶、

He replied,“ You took the gods I made, and my priest, and went away. What else do I have? How can you ask,‘ What’s the matter with you?’”

He replied,“ You took away the gods I made. And you took away my priest. What do I have left? So how can you ask,‘ What’s the matter with you?’ ”

And he said,“ You take my gods that I made and the priest, and go away, and what have I left? How then do you ask me,‘ What is the matter with you?’”

He said,“ You took the gods I had made and the priest, and went away. What do I have left? How can you say to me,‘ What’s the matter with you?’”

And he said,“ You have taken my gods which I made, and the priest, and have gone away; what more do I have? So how can you say to me,‘ What is the matter with you?’ ”

So he said,“ You have taken away my gods which I made, and the priest, and you have gone away. Now what more do I have? How can you say to me,‘ What ails you?’”

And he said, ye have taken away my gods which I made, and the priest, and are gone away, and what have I more? and how then say ye unto me, What aileth thee?

He said,“ You took the gods I had made and the priest, and went away. What do I have left? How can you say to me,‘ What’s the matter with you?’”

And he said, Ye have taken away my gods which I made, and the priest, and ye are gone away: and what have I more? and what[ is] this[ that] ye say unto me, What aileth thee?

He said,“ You stole my gods that I made, as well as this priest, and then went away. What do I have left? How can you have the audacity to say to me,‘ What do you want?’”

He said,“ You have taken away my gods which I made, and the priest, and have gone away! What more do I have? How can you ask me,‘ What ails you?’”

And those who make idols are just like them, as are all who trust in them.

Such stupidity and ignorance! Their eyes are closed, and they cannot see. Their minds are shut, and they cannot think.The person who made the idol never stops to reflect,“ Why, it’s just a block of wood! I burned half of it for heat and used it to bake my bread and roast my meat. How can the rest of it be a god? Should I bow down to worship a piece of wood?”The poor, deluded fool feeds on ashes. He trusts something that can’t help him at all. Yet he cannot bring himself to ask,“ Is this idol that I’m holding in my hand a lie?”

The whole human race is foolish and has no knowledge! The craftsmen are disgraced by the idols they make, for their carefully shaped works are a fraud. These idols have no breath or power.

But as you have seen and heard, this man Paul has persuaded many people that handmade gods aren’t really gods at all. And he’s done this not only here in Ephesus but throughout the entire province!

A drought will strike her water supply, causing it to dry up. And why? Because the whole land is filled with idols, and the people are madly in love with them.

“ Then Oholah lusted after other lovers instead of me, and she gave her love to the Assyrian officers.

“ What good is an idol carved by man, or a cast image that deceives you? How foolish to trust in your own creation— a god that can’t even talk!What sorrow awaits you who say to wooden idols,‘ Wake up and save us!’ To speechless stone images you say,‘ Rise up and teach us!’ Can an idol tell you what to do? They may be overlaid with gold and silver, but they are lifeless inside.

“ I know the Lord will bless me now,” Micah said,“ because I have a Levite serving as my priest.”

The kings of the world have committed adultery with her, and the people who belong to this world have been made drunk by the wine of her immorality.”
