约瑟想起了自己从前做的两个梦，就对他们说：“你们是奸细，是来探听我们虚实的！”

他们的土地包括琐拉、以实陶、伊珥·示麦、

约书亚对他们说：“如果你们人口众多，认为以法莲山区窄小，你们可以到比利洗人和利乏音人居住的地方开辟林区。”他们答道：“那些地方不够我们住，何况住在伯·善一带和耶斯列平原的迦南人都有铁战车。”约书亚对约瑟的子孙以法莲人和玛拿西人说：“你们人口众多，势力强大，不应只得一签之地，山区也要分给你们，虽然全是森林，但可以开辟土地，使整个地区归你们。虽然迦南人强盛，有铁战车，但你们能够赶走他们。”

琐拉城住了一个但支派的人，名叫玛挪亚。他妻子不能生养，没有孩子。

参孙的兄弟和家人取走他的尸体，葬在琐拉和以实陶之间他父亲玛挪亚的墓地里。参孙做以色列的士师二十年。以法莲山区住了一个名叫米迦的人。
