When you get there, you will find an unsuspecting people and a spacious land that God has put into your hands, a land that lacks nothing whatever.”

When you get there, you will find people who aren’t expecting anything bad to happen to them. Their land has plenty of room. God has handed it over to you. It’s a land that has everything you will ever need.”

As soon as you go, you will come to an unsuspecting people. The land is spacious, for God has given it into your hands, a place where there is no lack of anything that is in the earth.”

但人把米迦所做的神像和他的祭司都帶走，他們來到拉億，去到平靜安居的人民那裡，就用刀劍擊殺了他們，又用火燒了那城。

於是那五個人離開了，來到拉億，看見那裡的人民安然居住，好像西頓人一樣，生活平靜安穩；在那地又沒有人掌權，使他們受屈辱（“在那地又沒有人掌權，使他們受屈辱”原文意思不明確，或譯﹕“他們在地上沒缺甚麼，且擁有財富”）；他們離西頓人也很遠，也沒有與別人來往。

你要囑咐那些今世富有的人，叫他們不要心高氣傲，也不要寄望在浮動的財富上，卻要仰望那厚賜百物給我們享用的神。

所以我下來，要救他們脫離埃及人的手，領他們脫離那地，到美好寬闊之地，到流奶與蜜之地，就是到迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人的地方。

“以色列人哪，現在你們要聽我向來教訓你們遵行的律例和典章，使你們可以活著，可以進去得著耶和華你們列祖的神賜給你們的地作產業。

到了第七次，祭司吹角的時候，約書亞就對人民說：“你們呼喊吧，因為耶和華已經把這城賜給你們了。

因為耶和華你的神快要領你進入那美地；那地有河流，有泉，有源，水從谷中和山上流出來；那地有小麥、大麥、葡萄樹、無花果樹、石榴樹；那地有橄欖樹、油和蜜；你在那地必不缺乏食物，在那裡你必一無所缺；那地的石頭就是鐵；從那裡的山上，你可以挖出銅來。

但你們要過去得為業的地，卻是一個有山有谷的地，有天上雨水滋潤的地，就是耶和華你的神眷顧的地；從歲首到年終，耶和華你的神的眼目常常眷顧這地。

好像住在西珥的以掃子孫，和住在亞珥的摩押人待我一樣，等我過約旦河，進到耶和華我們的神賜給我們的地去。’

那日，我向他們舉手起誓，要把他們從埃及地領出來，到我為他們所選定的流奶與蜜之地，就是萬邦中最榮美的地。
