Micah said to him,“ Stay with me. Become my adviser and priest. I will give you ten pieces of silver per year, plus clothes and food.”

米迦曰、可偕我居、為我之父與祭司、歲給十金、衣服一襲、供爾之饌、利未人遂入室、

米迦曰、盍偕我居、任祭司之職、尊猶我父、歲給十金、衣服食物、我盡饋爾。利未人入室。

米迦曰、盍偕我居、我尊爾如父、為我作祭司、我歲給爾銀十舍客勒、衣服一襲、又供爾饌、利未人就之、

Then Micah said to him,“ Live with me and be my father and priest, and I’ll give you ten shekels of silver a year, your clothes and your food.”

Then Micah said to him,“ Live with me. Be my father and priest. I’ll give you four ounces of silver a year. I’ll also give you clothes and food.”

And Micah said to him,“ Stay with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten pieces of silver a year and a suit of clothes and your living.” And the Levite went in.

“ Stay here with me,” Micah said,“ and you can be a father and priest to me. I will give you ten pieces of silver a year, plus a change of clothes and your food.”

Micah replied,“ Stay with me and be my father and priest, and I will give you four ounces of silver a year, along with your clothing and provisions.” So the Levite went in

Micah then said to him,“ Stay with me and be a father and a priest to me, and I will give you ten pieces of silver a year, a supply of clothing, and your sustenance.” So the Levite went in.

Micah said to him,“ Dwell with me, and be a father and a priest to me, and I will give you ten shekels of silver per year, a suit of clothes, and your sustenance.” So the Levite went in.

And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten pieces of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.

Micah replied,“ Stay with me and be my father and priest, and I will give you four ounces of silver a year, along with your clothing and provisions.” So the Levite went in

And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten[ shekels] of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.

Micah said to him,“ Dwell with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten pieces of silver per year, a suit of clothing, and your food.” So the Levite went in.

They said to him,“ Shut up! Put your hand over your mouth and come with us! You can be our adviser and priest. Wouldn’t it be better to be a priest for a whole Israelite tribe than for just one man’s family?”The priest was happy. He took the ephod, the personal idols, and the carved image and joined the group.

Now Elisha had a terminal illness. King Joash of Israel went down to visit him. He wept before him and said,“ My father, my father! The chariot and horsemen of Israel!”

I was a father to the needy, and I investigated the case of the person I did not know;

Give a shepherd’s care to God’s flock among you, exercising oversight not merely as a duty but willingly under God’s direction, not for shameful profit but eagerly.

So the king told Hazael,“ Take a gift and go visit the prophet. Request from him an oracle from the LORD. Ask him,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”So Hazael went to visit Elisha. He took along a gift, as well as forty camel loads of all the fine things of Damascus. When he arrived, he stood before him and said,“ Your son, King Ben Hadad of Syria, has sent me to you with this question,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”

and said,“ What will you give me to betray him into your hands?” So they set out thirty silver coins for him.

Everyone who remains in your house will come to bow before him for a little money and for a scrap of bread. Each will say,‘ Assign me to a priestly task so I can eat a scrap of bread.’”

I will put your robe on him, tie your belt around him, and transfer your authority to him. He will become a protector of the residents of Jerusalem and of the people of Judah.

So the Levite agreed to stay with the man; the young man was like a son to Micah.

You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and scraps of bread. You have put to death people who should not die and kept alive those who should not live by your lies to my people, who listen to lies!

When the king of Israel saw them, he asked Elisha,“ Should I strike them down, my master?”

So now, it is not you who sent me here, but God. He has made me an adviser to Pharaoh, lord over all his household, and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

( Now Judas said this not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief. As keeper of the money box, he used to steal what was put into it.)

For the love of money is the root of all evils. Some people in reaching for it have strayed from the faith and stabbed themselves with many pains.
