So the governors of the Philistines came up to her and said to her,“ Entice him, and see where his great strength lies and how we can overpower him so that we may bind him to humble him. Then we will each give you 1,100 pieces of silver.”

And the lords of the Philistines came up to her and said to her,“ Entice him, and find out where his great strength lies, and by what means we may overpower him, that we may bind him to afflict him; and every one of us will give you eleven hundred pieces of silver.”

亚吉把大卫叫来，对他说：“我指着永活的耶和华说，你是正直的人，你与我在军中出入，我感到很满意，因为自从你到我这里来的那一天，直到今日，我未曾在你身上找到什么过失；只是各首领不喜欢你。

但那些想要发财的人，就落在试探中和陷阱里；又落在许多无知而有害的私欲里，使人沉沦在败坏和灭亡中；因为贪财是万恶之根。有人贪爱钱财，就被引诱离开真道，用许多痛苦把自己刺透了。

于是，以扫在那一天回西珥去了。

因为我必使你大得尊荣；你向我说什么，我都照办；只求你替我咒诅这民。’”巴兰回答巴勒的臣仆说：“巴勒就算把他满屋的金银给我，但我不论作大事小事，也不能越过耶和华我神的命令。

他留下的就是非利士人的五个首领，和所有迦南人、西顿人，以及住在黎巴嫩山上的希未人，从巴力．黑门山直到哈马口。

因为淫妇的嘴唇滴下蜂蜜，她的口比油更滑；至终却苦似苦菫，快如两刃的剑。她的脚走下死地，她的脚步踏向阴间。她不理会生命之路，她的路径变迁无定，自己也不知道。孩子们，现在要听从我，不可离弃我口中的话。你的道路要远离她，不可走近她的家门；免得你的精力给了别人，你的年日交给了残忍的人；免得外人饱享你的财物，你劳碌得来的归入别人的家。在你生命终结，你的肉体和身躯衰残的时候，你就悲叹，

他对自己的母亲说：“你那十二公斤银子被人拿去了，关于这事你曾说了咒诅的话，我也亲自听见了。看哪！那些银子在我这里，是我拿去了。”他母亲说：“愿我儿蒙耶和华赐福。”

淫妇用许多花言巧语引诱他，用谄媚的嘴唇勾引他。少年人就立刻跟随她，好像牛走向屠房，又像愚妄人带着锁链去受刑罚，直到箭矢射透他的肝；他仿佛飞鸟投入网罗，并不知道会丧失性命。孩子们，现在你们要听从我，留心听我口中的话。你的心不可偏向淫妇的道路，也不要迷恋她的路径。因为她使许多人倒毙，被她杀害的实在无数。她的家是通往阴间的路，是下到死亡的宫房。

“如果我把他交给你们，你们愿意给我什么呢？”他们就给了他三十块银子。

他们双手善于作恶，官长和审判官都要求报酬；达官贵人说出心里的欲望；他们歪曲了一切。

你们不知道你们的身体就是基督的肢体吗？这样，我们可以把基督的肢体当作娼妓的肢体吗？当然不可以！你们不知道那跟娼妓苟合的，就是与她成为一体了吗？因为经上说：“二人要成为一体。”但那与主联合的，就是与他成为一灵了。你们要逃避淫乱的事。人所犯的，无论是什么罪，都是在身体以外，唯有行淫乱的，是触犯自己的身体。

能保护你远离邪恶的女人，远离妓女谄媚的舌头。你心里不要贪恋她的美色，也不要给她的媚眼勾引。因为妓女使人只剩一块饼，通奸的妇人（“通奸的妇人”直译是“人的妻子”）猎取人宝贵的生命。

智慧要救你脱离淫妇，脱离说谄媚话的妓女。她离弃年轻时的配偶，忘记了神的约；她的家陷入死地，她的路径下落阴间。凡是进到她那里去的，都不能转回，必得不着生路。
