但我跌倒的時候，他們竟聚集一起歡慶；我素不相識的聚集一起攻擊我，他們不住地欺凌我。他們以最粗鄙的話譏笑我（按照《馬索拉文本》，本句應作“他們好像筵席上狂妄的譏笑者”；現參照《七十士譯本》翻譯），向我咬牙切齒。

我的仇敵啊！不要因我的遭遇而高興；我雖然跌倒了，卻必起來；我雖然坐在黑暗裡，耶和華卻必作我的光。我要擔當耶和華的忿怒，因為我得罪了他，直到他審斷我的案件，為我主持公道；他必把我領出來，到光明中去，我就得見他的公義。我的仇敵看見了，就必蒙羞，就是那曾經對我說：“耶和華你的神在哪裡”的人，我必親眼看見他遭報；那時，他必被人踐踏，好像街上的泥土。

過路的人嘲笑他，搖著頭說：“你這個想拆毀聖所，三日之內又把它建造起來的，救救自己吧！如果你是神的兒子，從十字架上下來吧！”祭司長、經學家和長老也同樣譏笑他，說：“他救了別人，卻不能救自己。如果他是以色列的王，現在可以從十字架上下來，我們就信他。他信靠神；如果神喜悅他，就讓神現在救他吧，因為他說自己是神的兒子。”和他一同釘十字架的強盜也都這樣侮辱他。

驛使奉王命急忙出發，御旨從書珊城頒布出去。那時王與哈曼又同坐共飲，書珊城的居民卻非常慌亂。

便．哈達與眾王正在帳棚裡喝酒，一聽見了這話，就對他的臣僕說：“你們列隊進攻。”他們就列隊進攻那城。

又用荊棘編成冠冕，戴在他的頭上，把一根蘆葦放在他的右手，跪在他面前譏笑他說：“猶太人的王萬歲！”

到了希律生日的那天，希羅底的女兒在眾人面前跳舞，希律非常高興，就起誓答應她，無論求甚麼都給她。

因為他們迫害你所擊打的人，嘲笑你所擊傷的人的痛苦。

那人和他的妾，以及他的僕人起來要走的時候，他的岳父，就是那女子的父親，對他說：“看哪，天快晚了！請再住一夜。看哪，日頭西斜了！請在這裡再住一夜，暢快你的心；明天可以清早起來，上路回家去。”

現在他們以我為歌曲，我竟成了他們的笑柄。他們厭惡我，遠遠地離開我，又不住吐唾沫在我臉上，

坐在城門口的人對我議論紛紛，我成了酒徒之歌。

於是他們吐唾沫在他的臉上，用拳頭打他，也有人用掌摑他，說：“基督啊，向我們說預言吧！是誰打你呢？”

祭司心裡高興，就拿著以弗得、神像和雕像，來到眾人中間。

你的仇敵跌倒的時候，你不要歡喜；他絆倒的時候，你心裡不可歡樂。恐怕耶和華看見了，就不喜悅，把他的怒氣從仇敵的身上，轉到你的身上。
