Delilah realized he had finally told her the truth, so she sent for the Philistine rulers.“ Come back one more time,” she said,“ for he has finally told me his secret.” So the Philistine rulers returned with the money in their hands.

When Delilah realized that he had told her the whole truth, she sent this message to the Philistine leaders:“ Come one more time, for he has told me the whole truth.” The Philistine leaders came to her and brought the silver with them.

When Delilah saw that he had told her all that was in his heart, she sent word and called the governors of the Philistines, saying,“ Come up once more, for he has told me all that is in his heart.” Then the governors of the Philistines came up to her and brought up the money in their hands.

非利士人的領袖上去，到那女子那裏，對她說：「請你哄騙參孫，探出他為何有這麼大的力氣，以及我們要用甚麼方法才能勝他，將他捆綁制伏。我們就每人給你一千一百塊銀子。」

你們各人當謹防鄰舍，不可信賴弟兄；因為弟兄盡行欺騙，鄰舍也都往來毀謗人。他們互相欺騙，不說真話，訓練自己的舌頭說謊，竭盡所能地作惡。你居住在詭詐的人中；他們因行詭詐，不願意認識我。這是耶和華說的。

要確實知道，無論是淫亂的，是污穢的，是貪心的（貪心的就是拜偶像的），在基督和上帝的國裏都得不到基業。

說：「我把他交給你們，你們願意給我多少錢？」他們給了他三十塊銀錢。

貪財是萬惡之根。有人因貪戀錢財而背離信仰，用許多愁苦把自己刺透了。

造謠者的話如同美食，深入人的肚腹。

摩押的長老和米甸的長老手裏拿着占卜的禮金到巴蘭那裏，將巴勒的話告訴他。

人真是虛空，人真是虛假；放在天平裏就必浮起，他們一共比空氣還輕。
