He was very thirsty, so he cried out to the LORD and said,“ You have given your servant this great victory. But now must I die of thirst and fall into hands of the Philistines?”

参孙甚觉口渴，就求告耶和华说：“你既藉仆人的手施行这么大的拯救，岂可任我渴死、落在未受割礼的人手中呢？”

参孙非常口渴，就求告耶和华说：“你既藉仆人的手施行这么大的拯救，现在我要渴死，落在未受割礼的人手中吗？”

参孙觉得非常口渴，便向耶和华呼求说：“你既然借着仆人的手大败敌人，难道你会让我渴死、落在这些未受割礼的人手中吗？”

参孙非常口渴，就呼求耶和华说：“你既然藉着你仆人的手施行这么大的拯救，现在我怎可以渴死，落在未受割礼的人手中呢？”

參孫非常口渴，就呼求永恆主說：『你既將這麼大的拯救交在你僕人手中，難道你如今要任我渴死，落在沒受割禮的人手中麼？』

參孫渴甚、籲耶和華曰、爾藉僕手、大施拯救、今將渴死、而陷未受割者之手、

渴甚、籲耶和華曰、爾既大拯爾僕、豈容渴死、使陷於未受割禮者之手乎。

參孫渴甚、籲主曰、主使主之僕得如此之大勝、今將渴死、終陷於未受割禮者之手、

Because he was very thirsty, he cried out to the Lord,“ You have given your servant this great victory. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Samson was very thirsty. So he cried out to the Lord. He said,“ You have helped me win this great battle. Do I have to die of thirst now? Must I fall into the power of people who haven’t even been circumcised? They aren’t your people.”

And he was very thirsty, and he called upon the Lord and said,“ You have granted this great salvation by the hand of your servant, and shall I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Samson was now very thirsty, and he cried out to the Lord,“ You have accomplished this great victory by the strength of your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of these pagans?”

He became very thirsty and called out to the LORD,“ You have accomplished this great victory through your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

And he was sore athirst, and called on Jehovah, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance by the hand of thy servant; and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised.

He became very thirsty and called out to the Lord:“ You have accomplished this great victory through Your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

And he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?

He was very thirsty, and called on Yahweh and said,“ You have given this great deliverance by the hand of your servant; and now shall I die of thirst, and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Your servant has struck down both the lion and the bear. This uncircumcised Philistine will be just like one of them. For he has defied the armies of the living God!”

David thought to himself,“ One of these days I’m going to be swept away by the hand of Saul! There is nothing better for me than to escape to the land of the Philistines. Then Saul will despair of searching for me through all the territory of Israel and I will escape from his hand.”

We are experiencing trouble on every side, but are not crushed; we are perplexed, but not driven to despair;we are persecuted, but not abandoned; we are knocked down, but not destroyed,

For we do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, regarding the affliction that happened to us in the province of Asia, that we were burdened excessively, beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of living.Indeed we felt as if the sentence of death had been passed against us, so that we would not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead.

Rise up, LORD! Deliver me, my God! Yes, you will strike all my enemies on the jaw; you will break the teeth of the wicked.The LORD delivers; you show favor to your people.( Selah)

even because of the extraordinary character of the revelations. Therefore, so that I would not become arrogant, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to trouble me– so that I would not become arrogant.I asked the Lord three times about this, that it would depart from me.

Indeed, who is God besides the LORD? Who is a protector besides our God?The one true God gives me strength; he removes the obstacles in my way.He gives me the agility of a deer; he enables me to negotiate the rugged terrain.He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend even the strongest bow.You give me your protective shield; your right hand supports me; your willingness to help enables me to prevail.You widen my path; my feet do not slip.I chase my enemies and catch them; I do not turn back until I wipe them out.I beat them to death; they fall at my feet.You give me strength for battle; you make my foes kneel before me.You make my enemies retreat; I destroy those who hate me.

After this Jesus, realizing that by this time everything was completed, said( in order to fulfill the scripture),“ I am thirsty!”

Abraham replied,“ Because I thought,‘ Surely no one fears God in this place. They will kill me because of my wife.’

Now Gideon and his three hundred men had crossed over the Jordan River, and even though they were exhausted, they were still chasing the Midianites.

Don’t report it in Gath, don’t spread the news in the streets of Ashkelon, or the daughters of the Philistines will rejoice, the daughters of the uncircumcised will celebrate!

Samson called to the LORD,“ O Master, LORD, remember me! Strengthen me just one more time, O God, so I can get swift revenge against the Philistines for my two eyes!”

When the Egyptians see you they will say,‘ This is his wife.’ Then they will kill me but will keep you alive.So tell them you are my sister so that it may go well for me because of you and my life will be spared on account of you.”

My strength drains away like water; all my bones are dislocated; my heart is like wax; it melts away inside me.The roof of my mouth is as dry as a piece of pottery; my tongue sticks to my gums. You set me in the dust of death.

And what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets.

David asked the men who were standing near him,“ What will be done for the man who strikes down this Philistine and frees Israel from this humiliation? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he defies the armies of the living God?”

The sun rose over him as he crossed over Penuel, but he was limping because of his hip.
