And he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?

参孙甚觉口渴，就求告耶和华说：“你既藉仆人的手施行这么大的拯救，岂可任我渴死、落在未受割礼的人手中呢？”

参孙非常口渴，就求告耶和华说：“你既藉仆人的手施行这么大的拯救，现在我要渴死，落在未受割礼的人手中吗？”

参孙觉得非常口渴，便向耶和华呼求说：“你既然借着仆人的手大败敌人，难道你会让我渴死、落在这些未受割礼的人手中吗？”

参孙非常口渴，就呼求耶和华说：“你既然藉着你仆人的手施行这么大的拯救，现在我怎可以渴死，落在未受割礼的人手中呢？”

參孫渴甚、籲耶和華曰、爾藉僕手、大施拯救、今將渴死、而陷未受割者之手、

渴甚、籲耶和華曰、爾既大拯爾僕、豈容渴死、使陷於未受割禮者之手乎。

參孫渴甚、籲主曰、主使主之僕得如此之大勝、今將渴死、終陷於未受割禮者之手、

Because he was very thirsty, he cried out to the Lord,“ You have given your servant this great victory. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Samson was very thirsty. So he cried out to the Lord. He said,“ You have helped me win this great battle. Do I have to die of thirst now? Must I fall into the power of people who haven’t even been circumcised? They aren’t your people.”

And he was very thirsty, and he called upon the Lord and said,“ You have granted this great salvation by the hand of your servant, and shall I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Samson was now very thirsty, and he cried out to the Lord,“ You have accomplished this great victory by the strength of your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of these pagans?”

He became very thirsty and called out to the LORD,“ You have accomplished this great victory through your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Then he became very thirsty, and he called to the Lord and said,“ You have handed this great victory over to Your servant, and now am I to die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Then he became very thirsty; so he cried out to the Lord and said,“ You have given this great deliverance by the hand of Your servant; and now shall I die of thirst and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?”

And he was sore athirst, and called on Jehovah, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance by the hand of thy servant; and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised.

He became very thirsty and called out to the Lord:“ You have accomplished this great victory through Your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

He was very thirsty, so he cried out to the LORD and said,“ You have given your servant this great victory. But now must I die of thirst and fall into hands of the Philistines?”

He was very thirsty, and called on Yahweh and said,“ You have given this great deliverance by the hand of your servant; and now shall I die of thirst, and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.

And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul:[ there is] nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.

[ We are] troubled on every side, yet not distressed;[ we are] perplexed, but not in despair;Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies[ upon] the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.Salvation[ belongeth] unto the LORD: thy blessing[ is] upon thy people. Selah.

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

For who[ is] God save the LORD? or who[ is] a rock save our God?[ It is] God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.He maketh my feet like hinds’[ feet], and setteth me upon my high places.He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God[ is] not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife’s sake.

And Gideon came to Jordan,[ and] passed over, he, and the three hundred men that[ were] with him, faint, yet pursuing[ them].

Tell[ it] not in Gath, publish[ it] not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.

And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This[ is] his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.Say, I pray thee, thou[ art] my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and[ of] Barak, and[ of] Samson, and[ of] Jephthae;[ of] David also, and Samuel, and[ of] the prophets:

And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who[ is] this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?

And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh.
