Because he was very thirsty, he cried out to the Lord,“ You have given your servant this great victory. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Samson was very thirsty. So he cried out to the Lord. He said,“ You have helped me win this great battle. Do I have to die of thirst now? Must I fall into the power of people who haven’t even been circumcised? They aren’t your people.”

And he was very thirsty, and he called upon the Lord and said,“ You have granted this great salvation by the hand of your servant, and shall I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Samson was now very thirsty, and he cried out to the Lord,“ You have accomplished this great victory by the strength of your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of these pagans?”

He became very thirsty and called out to the LORD,“ You have accomplished this great victory through your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

你仆人曾打死狮子和熊，这未受割礼的非利士人向永生神的军队骂阵，也必像狮子和熊一般。”

大卫心里说：“必有一日我死在扫罗手里，不如逃奔非利士地去。扫罗见我不在以色列的境内，就必绝望，不再寻索我；这样我可以脱离他的手。”

我们四面受敌，却不被困住；心里作难，却不至失望；遭逼迫，却不被丢弃；打倒了，却不至死亡。

弟兄们，我们不要你们不晓得，我们从前在亚细亚遭遇苦难，被压太重，力不能胜，甚至连活命的指望都绝了；自己心里也断定是必死的，叫我们不靠自己，只靠叫死人复活的神。

耶和华啊，求你起来！我的神啊，求你救我！因为你打了我一切仇敌的腮骨，敲碎了恶人的牙齿。救恩属乎耶和华；愿你赐福给你的百姓。细拉

又恐怕我因所得的启示甚大，就过于自高，所以有一根刺加在我肉体上，就是撒但的差役要攻击我，免得我过于自高。为这事，我三次求过主，叫这刺离开我。

除了耶和华，谁是神呢？除了我们的神，谁是磐石呢？惟有那以力量束我的腰、使我行为完全的，他是神。他使我的脚快如母鹿的蹄，又使我在高处安稳。他教导我的手能以争战，甚至我的膀臂能开铜弓。你把你的救恩给我作盾牌；你的右手扶持我；你的温和使我为大。你使我脚下的地步宽阔；我的脚未曾滑跌。我要追赶我的仇敌，并要追上他们；不将他们灭绝，我总不归回。我要打伤他们，使他们不能起来；他们必倒在我的脚下。因为你曾以力量束我的腰，使我能争战；你也使那起来攻击我的都服在我以下。你又使我的仇敌在我面前转背逃跑，叫我能以剪除那恨我的人。

这事以后，耶稣知道各样的事已经成了，为要使经上的话应验，就说：“我渴了。”

亚伯拉罕说：“我以为这地方的人总不惧怕神，必为我妻子的缘故杀我。

基甸和跟随他的三百人到约旦河过渡，虽然疲乏，还是追赶。

不要在迦特报告；不要在亚实基伦街上传扬；免得非利士的女子欢乐；免得未受割礼之人的女子矜夸。

参孙求告耶和华说：“主耶和华啊，求你眷念我。神啊，求你赐我这一次的力量，使我在非利士人身上报那剜我双眼的仇。”

埃及人看见你必说：‘这是他的妻子’，他们就要杀我，却叫你存活。求你说，你是我的妹子，使我因你得平安，我的命也因你存活。”

我如水被倒出来；我的骨头都脱了节；我心在我里面如蜡熔化。我的精力枯干，如同瓦片；我的舌头贴在我牙床上。你将我安置在死地的尘土中。

我又何必再说呢？若要一一细说，基甸、巴拉、参孙、耶弗他、大卫、撒母耳，和众先知的事，时候就不够了。

大卫问站在旁边的人说：“有人杀这非利士人，除掉以色列人的耻辱，怎样待他呢？这未受割礼的非利士人是谁呢？竟敢向永生神的军队骂阵吗？”

日头刚出来的时候，雅各经过毗努伊勒，他的大腿就瘸了。
