As he approached Lehi, the Philistines came toward him shouting. The Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him. The ropes on his arms became like charred flax, and the bindings dropped from his hands.

Samson approached Lehi. The Philistines came toward him shouting. Then the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully on Samson. The ropes on his arms became like burned thread. They dropped off his hands.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting to meet him. Then the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that has caught fire, and his bonds melted off his hands.

As Samson arrived at Lehi, the Philistines came shouting in triumph. But the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon Samson, and he snapped the ropes on his arms as if they were burnt strands of flax, and they fell from his wrists.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came to meet him shouting. The Spirit of the LORD came powerfully on him, and the ropes that were on his arms and wrists became like burnt flax and fell off.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him. And the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon him so that the ropes that were on his arms were like flax that has burned with fire, and his restraints dropped from his hands.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting against him. Then the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him; and the ropes that were on his arms became like flax that is burned with fire, and his bonds broke loose from his hands.

When he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him: and the Spirit of Jehovah came mightily upon him, and the ropes that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands dropped from off his hands.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came to meet him shouting. The Spirit of the Lord took control of him, and the ropes that were on his arms became like burnt flax and his bonds fell off his wrists.

[ And] when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that[ were] upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.

When he arrived in Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they approached him. But the LORD’s spirit empowered him. The ropes around his arms were like flax dissolving in fire, and they melted away from his hands.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him. Then Yahweh’s Spirit came mightily on him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that was burned with fire; and his bands dropped from off his hands.

耶和華之神大感參孫、遂下亞實基倫、殺三十人、褫其衣、以給解隱語者、盛怒而返父家、

或以民遁告埃及王、法老與羣臣乃變厥心、曰、奚為釋以色列族、俾不服役於我、

我敵歟、勿因我而欣喜、我雖傾覆、必復興起、我坐於幽暗、耶和華為我之光、

教我手善戰、使我臂挽銅弓兮、

耶和華約匱既入營、以色列眾大聲號呼、地為響應、

大利拉遂以新索縛之、曰、參孫、非利士人涖爾、是時伏者俟於內室、參孫即斷臂索、如斷一縷、

彼眾環我困我、我賴耶和華名、必殄滅之兮、

彼曰、此乃耶和華諭所羅巴伯之言曰、非以權勢、非以能力、乃藉我神、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

豈非獲財、共分所虜、各得一二女子、西西拉得文彩之衣、錦繡之服、表裏文繡、以飾所虜者之項、

女既設伏於內室、告曰、參孫、非利士人涖爾、參孫遂斷其弦、如斷經火之麻縷、仍不知其力之奚自、

我出追而擊之、援羔於其口、彼起而攻我、我執其鬣、擊而殺之、

作惡者誇勝不長久、不虔者喜樂祇俄頃、

民見之、則頌讚其神曰、我神付敵於我手、彼乃敗我邦國、殺我多人者也、

又求我真侶、助此二婦、以其昔與我及革利免、並其餘之同勞、協力於福音、名錄於維生之書者、○

法老必謂以色列族迷於途、困於野、
