They said to him,“ We’ve come to tie you up and hand you over to the Philistines.” Then Samson told them,“ Swear to me that you yourselves won’t kill me.”

猶大人對他說：『我們下來、是要捆綁你，將你交在非利士人手中。』參孫對他們說：『你們要向我起誓不將我殺掉才行。』

They said to him,“ We’ve come to tie you up and hand you over to the Philistines.” Samson said,“ Swear to me that you won’t kill me yourselves.”

The men of Judah said to him,“ We’ve come to tie you up. We’re going to hand you over to the Philistines.” Samson said,“ Promise me you won’t kill me yourselves.”

And they said to him,“ We have come down to bind you, that we may give you into the hands of the Philistines.” And Samson said to them,“ Swear to me that you will not attack me yourselves.”

But the men of Judah told him,“ We have come to tie you up and hand you over to the Philistines.”“ All right,” Samson said.“ But promise that you won’t kill me yourselves.”

Then they said to him,“ We have come down to bind you so that we may hand you over to the Philistines.” And Samson said to them,“ Swear to me that you will not kill me.”

But they said to him,“ We have come down to arrest you, that we may deliver you into the hand of the Philistines.” Then Samson said to them,“ Swear to me that you will not kill me yourselves.”

And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.

They said to him,“ We’ve come to arrest you and hand you over to the Philistines.” Then Samson told them,“ Swear to me that you yourselves won’t kill me.”

And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.

They said to him,“ We have come down to take you prisoner so we can hand you over to the Philistines.” Samson said to them,“ Promise me you will not kill me.”

They said to him,“ We have come down to bind you, that we may deliver you into the hand of the Philistines.” Samson said to them,“ Swear to me that you will not attack me yourselves.”

Zebah and Zalmunna said,“ Get up and strike us down yourself, for a man is judged by his strength.” So Gideon got up, killed Zebah and Zalmunna, and took the crescent ornaments that were on the necks of their camels.

Then King Solomon dispatched Benaiah son of Jehoiada, who struck down Adonijah, and he died.

He assumed his people would understand that God would give them deliverance through him, but they did not understand.

Benaiah son of Jehoiada went up, struck down Joab, and put him to death. He was buried at his house in the wilderness.

After tying him up, they led him away and handed him over to Pilate, the governor.
