And Samson’s wife was given to one of his companions who had attended him at the feast.

Samson’s wife was given to someone else. She was given to a companion of Samson. The companion had helped him at the feast.

So his wife was given in marriage to the man who had been Samson’s best man at the wedding.

Friends deceive each other, and will not speak the truth. They have taught their tongue to speak lies. They weary themselves commiting iniquity.
