He replied,“ Out of the eater, something to eat; out of the strong, something sweet.” For three days they could not give the answer.

Samson replied,“ Out of the eater came something to eat. Out of the strong came something sweet.” For three days they couldn’t give him the answer.

And he said to them,“ Out of the eater came something to eat. Out of the strong came something sweet.” And in three days they could not solve the riddle.

So he said:“ Out of the one who eats came something to eat; out of the strong came something sweet.” Three days later they were still trying to figure it out.

So he said to them: Out of the eater came something to eat, and out of the strong came something sweet. After three days, they were unable to explain the riddle.

So he said to them,“ Out of the eater came something to eat, And out of the strong came something sweet.” But they could not tell the answer to the riddle in three days.

So he said to them:“ Out of the eater came something to eat, And out of the strong came something sweet.” Now for three days they could not explain the riddle.

And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth food, And out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days declare the riddle.

He said to them,“ Out of the eater came out food. Out of the strong came out sweetness.” They couldn’t in three days declare the riddle.

烏鴉早上給他叼餅和肉來，晚上也有餅和肉，他又喝溪裏的水。

我的弟兄們，你們遭受各種試煉時，都要認為是大喜樂，因為知道你們的信心經過考驗，就生忍耐。但要讓忍耐發揮完全的功用，使你們能又完全又完整，一無所缺。

耶穌回答他們說：「因為天國的奧祕只讓你們知道，不讓他們知道。

他對我說：「我的恩典是夠你用的，因為我的能力是在人的軟弱上顯得完全。」所以，我更喜歡誇耀自己的軟弱，好使基督的能力覆庇我。為基督的緣故，我以軟弱、凌辱、艱難、迫害、困苦為可喜樂的事；因為我甚麼時候軟弱，甚麼時候就剛強了。

耶和華的旨意要壓傷他，使他受苦。當他的生命作為贖罪祭時，他必看見後裔，他的年日必然長久。耶和華所喜悅的事，必在他手中亨通。因自己的勞苦，他必看見光就心滿意足。因自己的認識，我的義僕使許多人得稱為義，他要擔當他們的罪孽。因此，我要使他與位大的同份，與強盛的均分擄物。因為他傾倒自己的生命，以至於死，也列在罪犯之中。他卻擔當多人的罪，為他們的過犯代求。

既然兒女同有血肉之軀，他也照樣親自成了血肉之軀，為能藉着死敗壞那掌管死權的，就是魔鬼，並要釋放那些一生因怕死而作奴隸的人。

弟兄們，我要你們知道，我所遭遇的事反而使福音更興旺，以致御營全軍和其餘的人都知道我是為基督的緣故受捆鎖的；而且那在主裏的弟兄，多半都因我受的捆鎖而篤信不疑，越發放膽無所懼怕地傳道。有些人傳基督是出於嫉妒紛爭；有些人是出於好意。後者是出於愛心，知道我奉差遣是為福音辯護的。前者傳基督是出於自私，動機不純，企圖要加增我捆鎖的苦楚。這又何妨呢？或是假意或是真心，無論如何，只要基督被傳開了，為此我就歡喜。我還要歡喜，因為我知道，這事藉着你們的祈禱和耶穌基督的靈的幫助，終必使我得到釋放。這就是我所切慕、所盼望的：沒有一事能使我羞愧；反倒凡事坦然無懼，無論是生是死，總要讓基督在我身上照常顯大。

他說：「沒有人指教我，怎能明白呢？」於是他請腓利上車，與他同坐。

我們這短暫而輕微的苦楚要為我們成就極重、無比、永遠的榮耀。

肉身之父都是短時間隨己意管教我們，惟有靈性之父管教我們是要我們得益處，使我們在他的聖潔上有份。凡管教的事，當時不覺得快樂，反覺得痛苦；後來卻為那經過鍛鍊的人結出平安的果子，就是義的果子。

然而，靠着愛我們的主，在這一切的事上，我們已經得勝有餘了。

他被掛在木頭上，親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們既然在罪上死，就得以在義上活。因他受的鞭傷，你們得了醫治。

我要使你和女人彼此為仇，你的後裔和女人的後裔也彼此為仇。他要傷你的頭，你要傷他的腳跟。」

曾引領你經過那大而可怕的曠野，有火蛇、蠍子、乾旱無水之地。他也曾為你使水從堅硬的磐石中流出來，又在曠野將你列祖所不認識的嗎哪賜給你吃，為要磨煉你，考驗你，終久使你享福。

約沙法和他的百姓就來收取掠物，找到許多牲畜、財物、衣服和珍寶。他們取掠物歸為己有，直到無法攜帶；因為掠物太多，他們足足收取了三日。

對愚妄人，智慧高不可及，所以他在城門不敢開口。

有人來報告約沙法說：「從海的那邊，以東有大軍來攻擊你，看哪，他們在哈洗遜‧他瑪，就是隱‧基底。」

不但如此，就是在患難中也是歡歡喜喜的，因為知道患難生忍耐，忍耐生老練，老練生盼望，盼望不至於落空，因為神的愛，已藉着所賜給我們的聖靈，澆灌在我們心裏。
