He replied,“ Out of the eater, something to eat; out of the strong, something sweet.” For three days they could not give the answer.

Samson replied,“ Out of the eater came something to eat. Out of the strong came something sweet.” For three days they couldn’t give him the answer.

And he said to them,“ Out of the eater came something to eat. Out of the strong came something sweet.” And in three days they could not solve the riddle.

So he said:“ Out of the one who eats came something to eat; out of the strong came something sweet.” Three days later they were still trying to figure it out.

So he said to them: Out of the eater came something to eat, and out of the strong came something sweet. After three days, they were unable to explain the riddle.

So he said to them,“ Out of the eater came something to eat, And out of the strong came something sweet.” But they could not tell the answer to the riddle in three days.

So he said to them:“ Out of the eater came something to eat, And out of the strong came something sweet.” Now for three days they could not explain the riddle.

And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth food, And out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days declare the riddle.

He said to them,“ Out of the eater came out food. Out of the strong came out sweetness.” They couldn’t in three days declare the riddle.

乌鸦早上给他叼饼和肉来，晚上也有饼和肉，他又喝溪里的水。

我的弟兄们，你们遭受各种试炼时，都要认为是大喜乐，因为知道你们的信心经过考验，就生忍耐。但要让忍耐发挥完全的功用，使你们能又完全又完整，一无所缺。

耶稣回答他们说：“因为天国的奥秘只让你们知道，不让他们知道。

他对我说：“我的恩典是够你用的，因为我的能力是在人的软弱上显得完全。”所以，我更喜欢夸耀自己的软弱，好使基督的能力覆庇我。为基督的缘故，我以软弱、凌辱、艰难、迫害、困苦为可喜乐的事；因为我什么时候软弱，什么时候就刚强了。

耶和华的旨意要压伤他，使他受苦。当他的生命作为赎罪祭时，他必看见后裔，他的年日必然长久。耶和华所喜悦的事，必在他手中亨通。因自己的劳苦，他必看见光就心满意足。因自己的认识，我的义仆使许多人得称为义，他要担当他们的罪孽。因此，我要使他与位大的同份，与强盛的均分掳物。因为他倾倒自己的生命，以至于死，也列在罪犯之中。他却担当多人的罪，为他们的过犯代求。

既然儿女同有血肉之躯，他也照样亲自成了血肉之躯，为能藉着死败坏那掌管死权的，就是魔鬼，并要释放那些一生因怕死而作奴隶的人。

弟兄们，我要你们知道，我所遭遇的事反而使福音更兴旺，以致御营全军和其余的人都知道我是为基督的缘故受捆锁的；而且那在主里的弟兄，多半都因我受的捆锁而笃信不疑，越发放胆无所惧怕地传道。有些人传基督是出于嫉妒纷争；有些人是出于好意。后者是出于爱心，知道我奉差遣是为福音辩护的。前者传基督是出于自私，动机不纯，企图要加增我捆锁的苦楚。这又何妨呢？或是假意或是真心，无论如何，只要基督被传开了，为此我就欢喜。我还要欢喜，因为我知道，这事藉着你们的祈祷和耶稣基督的灵的帮助，终必使我得到释放。这就是我所切慕、所盼望的：没有一事能使我羞愧；反倒凡事坦然无惧，无论是生是死，总要让基督在我身上照常显大。

他说：“没有人指教我，怎能明白呢？”于是他请腓利上车，与他同坐。

我们这短暂而轻微的苦楚要为我们成就极重、无比、永远的荣耀。

肉身之父都是短时间随己意管教我们，惟有灵性之父管教我们是要我们得益处，使我们在他的圣洁上有份。凡管教的事，当时不觉得快乐，反觉得痛苦；后来却为那经过锻炼的人结出平安的果子，就是义的果子。

然而，靠着爱我们的主，在这一切的事上，我们已经得胜有余了。

他被挂在木头上，亲身担当了我们的罪，使我们既然在罪上死，就得以在义上活。因他受的鞭伤，你们得了医治。

我要使你和女人彼此为仇，你的后裔和女人的后裔也彼此为仇。他要伤你的头，你要伤他的脚跟。”

曾引领你经过那大而可怕的旷野，有火蛇、蝎子、干旱无水之地。他也曾为你使水从坚硬的磐石中流出来，又在旷野将你列祖所不认识的吗哪赐给你吃，为要磨炼你，考验你，终久使你享福。

约沙法和他的百姓就来收取掠物，找到许多牲畜、财物、衣服和珍宝。他们取掠物归为己有，直到无法携带；因为掠物太多，他们足足收取了三日。

对愚妄人，智慧高不可及，所以他在城门不敢开口。

有人来报告约沙法说：“从海的那边，以东有大军来攻击你，看哪，他们在哈洗逊‧他玛，就是隐‧基底。”

不但如此，就是在患难中也是欢欢喜喜的，因为知道患难生忍耐，忍耐生老练，老练生盼望，盼望不至于落空，因为神的爱，已藉着所赐给我们的圣灵，浇灌在我们心里。
