He replied,“ Out of the eater, something to eat; out of the strong, something sweet.” For three days they could not give the answer.

Samson replied,“ Out of the eater came something to eat. Out of the strong came something sweet.” For three days they couldn’t give him the answer.

And he said to them,“ Out of the eater came something to eat. Out of the strong came something sweet.” And in three days they could not solve the riddle.

So he said:“ Out of the one who eats came something to eat; out of the strong came something sweet.” Three days later they were still trying to figure it out.

So he said to them: Out of the eater came something to eat, and out of the strong came something sweet. After three days, they were unable to explain the riddle.

So he said to them,“ Out of the eater came something to eat, And out of the strong came something sweet.” But they could not tell the answer to the riddle in three days.

So he said to them:“ Out of the eater came something to eat, And out of the strong came something sweet.” Now for three days they could not explain the riddle.

And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth food, And out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days declare the riddle.

He said to them,“ Out of the eater came out food. Out of the strong came out sweetness.” They couldn’t in three days declare the riddle.

烏鴉每天早晚為他叼來餅和肉，他喝溪裡的水。

我的弟兄姊妹，當你們遭遇各種磨煉的時候，都要認為是喜樂的事。要知道你們的信心經過考驗會產生堅忍。你們要堅忍到底，使你們纯全、完備、毫無缺欠。

耶穌回答說：「天國的奧祕只讓你們知道，不讓他們知道。

但祂說：「我的恩典足夠你用，因為我的能力在人的軟弱上更顯得全備。」所以，我更喜歡誇耀自己的軟弱，好讓基督的能力蔭庇我。因此，為了基督的緣故，我欣然面對軟弱、凌辱、迫害、艱難和困苦，因為我軟弱的時候也正是我剛強的時候。

然而，祂被壓傷、受痛苦是耶和華的旨意；祂的性命作了贖罪祭，祂必看見自己的後裔，祂必長久活著。耶和華的旨意必在祂手中實現。祂必看見自己勞苦的成果，並心滿意足。耶和華說：「我公義的僕人必憑祂的知識使許多人被算為義人，祂要擔當他們的罪惡。我要使祂與偉人同享尊榮，跟強者同分戰利品，因為祂奉獻了自己的生命。祂被列在罪犯中，卻擔當了許多人的罪，又為罪人代求。」

因為眾兒女都是血肉之軀，所以祂也同樣取了血肉之軀，為要親身經歷死亡，藉此摧毀掌握死亡權勢的魔鬼，釋放那些因怕死而一生做奴隸的人。

弟兄姊妹，我希望你們知道，我的遭遇反而會使福音傳得更廣，連所有的皇家衛兵和其他眾人都知道我是為了基督的緣故而受囚禁。大多數主內的弟兄姊妹看見我為主被囚，信心受到鼓舞，更加放膽無懼地傳揚上帝的道。當然，有些人宣講基督是出於嫉妒和爭強好勝，也有些人是出於善意。後者是出於愛心，知道我是上帝派來維護福音的。前者傳講基督是出於個人野心，動機不純，以為可以增加我在獄中的痛苦。那又怎樣呢？無論他們傳福音是真心還是假意，基督的福音畢竟傳開了，因此我很歡喜，而且歡喜不已。因為我知道，藉著你們的禱告和耶穌基督之靈的幫助，我終會得到釋放。我殷切地期待和盼望：我不會感到任何羞愧，而是放膽無懼，不管是生是死，都要一如既往地使基督在我身上得到尊崇。

他說：「沒有人為我解釋，我怎能明白呢？」他就請腓利上車和他一起坐。

我們這短暫輕微的苦難正在為我們成就極大無比、永遠的榮耀。

我們的生身父親是按自己以為好的標準暫時管教我們，但上帝是為了我們的益處而管教我們，使我們可以在祂的聖潔上有份。被管教的滋味絕不好受，當時都很痛苦，但事後那些受過管教的人會收穫公義和平安的果子。

然而，靠著愛我們的主，我們在這一切事上已經得勝有餘了。

祂被釘在十字架上，親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們向著罪死了，可以過公義的生活。因祂所受的鞭傷，你們得到了醫治。

我要使你和女人結仇，你的後代和女人的後代也要彼此為仇，女人的後代必傷你的頭，你必傷他的腳跟。」

帶領你們走過乾旱、可怕、毒蛇和蠍子出沒的大曠野。祂使堅硬的磐石流出水來給你們喝，在曠野中把你們祖先從未見過的嗎哪賜給你們吃，為要磨煉你們、考驗你們，使你們最終得到益處。

約沙法和他的百姓前去拾財物，發現屍體中有許多財物、衣服和貴重物品，多得拿不完。他們拾了三天才拾完。

智慧對愚人高不可及，他在城門口沉默不語。

有人稟告約沙法說：「有一支大軍從死海對岸的以東殺來，已經攻到哈洗遜·他瑪。」哈洗遜·他瑪就是隱·基底。

不但如此，我們在苦難中也歡喜，因為知道苦難使人生忍耐，忍耐生品格，品格生盼望。這種盼望不會落空，因為上帝的愛藉著所賜給我們的聖靈已傾注在我們心中。
