Then the woman came and told her husband,“ A man of God came to me, and his appearance was like the appearance of the angel of God, very awesome. I did not ask him where he was from, and he did not tell me his name,

妇人就去对丈夫说：“有一位上帝的仆人向我显现，他的容貌像上帝的天使，非常可畏。我没有问他从哪里来，他也没有把名字告诉我。

妇人就回去，告诉她的丈夫说：“有一位神人到我这里来，他的容貌像神使者的容貌，非常可畏，我没有问他从哪里来，他也没有告诉我他的名字。

婦人就回去，告訴她的丈夫說：“有一位神人到我這裡來，他的容貌像神使者的容貌，非常可畏，我沒有問他從哪裡來，他也沒有告訴我他的名字。

婦人就去、對她丈夫說：『有一個神人到我面前來，他的容貌像上帝使者的容貌，很可畏懼；我沒有問他從哪裏來，他也沒有將他的名字告訴我，

婦歸告夫曰、有上帝僕就我、其容髣髴上帝之使、可畏之甚、我未問其奚自、彼未以名告我、

婦至告夫曰、上帝有僕就我、其容可畏、髣髴上帝之使、我不問其何自、彼不以名告我、

婦歸、告夫曰、有一神人就我、其貌甚可畏、髣髴天主之使者、我未詢其奚自、彼不以其名告我、

Then the woman went to her husband and told him,“ A man of God came to me. He looked like an angel of God, very awesome. I didn’t ask him where he came from, and he didn’t tell me his name.

Then the woman went to her husband. She told him,“ A man of God came to me. He looked like an angel of God. His appearance was so amazing that it filled me with great wonder. I didn’t ask him where he came from. And he didn’t tell me his name.

The woman ran and told her husband,“ A man of God appeared to me! He looked like one of God’s angels, terrifying to see. I didn’t ask where he was from, and he didn’t tell me his name.

Then the woman went and told her husband,“ A man of God came to me. He looked like the awe-inspiring angel of God. I didn’t ask him where he came from, and he didn’t tell me his name.

Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of the angel of God, very terrible; and I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name:

Then the woman went and told her husband,“ A man of God came to me. He looked like the awe-inspiring Angel of God. I didn’t ask Him where He came from, and He didn’t tell me His name.

Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his countenance[ was] like the countenance of an angel of God, very terrible: but I asked him not whence he[ was], neither told he me his name:

The woman went and said to her husband,“ A man sent from God came to me! He looked like God’s angelic messenger– he was very awesome. I did not ask him where he came from, and he did not tell me his name.

Then the woman came and told her husband, saying,“ A man of God came to me, and his face was like the face of the angel of God, very awesome. I didn’t ask him where he was from, neither did he tell me his name;

And Manoah said to the angel of the Lord,“ What is your name, so that, when your words come true, we may honor you?”And the angel of the Lord said to him,“ Why do you ask my name, seeing it is wonderful?”

But he said to him,“ Behold, there is a man of God in this city, and he is a man who is held in honor; all that he says comes true. So now let us go there. Perhaps he can tell us the way we should go.”

And there came a man of God to Eli and said to him,“ Thus says the Lord,‘ Did I indeed reveal myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt subject to the house of Pharaoh?

This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the people of Israel before his death.

And he said,“ I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said,“ Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”And he was afraid and said,“ How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

And the angel answered him,“ I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.

I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, a man clothed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist.

Then the people of Judah came to Joshua at Gilgal. And Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him,“ You know what the Lord said to Moses the man of God in Kadesh-barnea concerning you and me.

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying,“ Fear not, I am the first and the last,

But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.

And she said to Elijah,“ What have you against me, O man of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to remembrance and to cause the death of my son!”

And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.

So he came near where I stood. And when he came, I was frightened and fell on my face. But he said to me,“ Understand, O son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end.”

And he said to me,“ O Daniel, man greatly loved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for now I have been sent to you.” And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood up trembling.

And she said to her husband,“ Behold now, I know that this is a holy man of God who is continually passing our way.

Then Jacob asked him,“ Please tell me your name.” But he said,“ Why is it that you ask my name?” And there he blessed him.

His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men.

And Manoah said to his wife,“ We shall surely die, for we have seen God.”

Then Manoah prayed to the Lord and said,“ O Lord, please let the man of God whom you sent come again to us and teach us what we are to do with the child who will be born.”

And the woman said to Elijah,“ Now I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is truth.”

And as he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became dazzling white.

And gazing at him, all who sat in the council saw that his face was like the face of an angel.

And he said,“ At this season, about this time next year, you shall embrace a son.” And she said,“ No, my lord, O man of God; do not lie to your servant.”
