『你要告訴以色列人說：無論男人女人、若許了特別的願，離俗人的願，就要離俗而歸永恆主。清酒濃酒他要遠離；清酒作的醋、濃酒作的醋、他都不可喝；任何葡萄汁他都不可喝；鮮葡萄或乾葡萄他也不可喫。

此後大衛擊敗了非利士人，制伏他們；大衛從非利士人手下奪取了母城的駕馭權。
