一日、主之使者顯現於婦曰、爾素不孕不生子、今必懷孕生子、

耶和华的使者向那妇人显现，对她说：“向来你不怀孕，不生育，如今你必怀孕生一个儿子。

耶和華之使者見於婦曰、爾素不妊不育、今必懷妊生子、

耶和華之使顯現於馬挪亞妻、曰、汝素不妊、而無生育、今可懷妊生子。

The angel of the Lord appeared to her and said,“ You are barren and childless, but you are going to become pregnant and give birth to a son.

And the angel of Jehovah appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not; but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.

婦歸、告夫曰、有一神人就我、其貌甚可畏、髣髴天主之使者、我未詢其奚自、彼不以其名告我、

婦即趨告夫曰、昔日就我之人、復顯現於我、

我必賜之以福、使之從爾生子、我必賜之以福、使為列族之母、列邦之王必由彼出、

主之使者遇之於野、在泉旁、其泉在書珥之道、曰、撒萊婢夏甲、適從何來、將欲何往、曰、我逃遁以避主母撒萊、主之使者謂之曰、可歸主母所、聽其苦待爾、主之使者又曰、我必使爾後裔蕃衍、不可勝數、主之使者又曰、爾今懷孕、將生一子、因主俯聞爾苦、可命名以實瑪利、以實瑪利譯即天主俯聞之義彼將為野人、攻眾而眾必攻彼、其所居地、在諸兄弟之東、夏甲蒙主諭示、即籲主名曰、爾乃俯鑒我之天主、蓋曰、主俯鑒我後、得瞻仰主、

天使入告之曰、蒙寵之女安、主與爾偕、諸女中爾福哉、瑪利亞見之、聞言甚訝、思此問安何意、天使曰、瑪利亞勿懼、爾於天主前得恩寵、爾將孕而生子、命名耶穌、彼將為大、稱為至上者之子、主即天主將以其祖大衛之位賜之、永為雅各家之王、其國靡暨、瑪利亞對天使曰、我未適人、何以有此、天使曰、聖神將臨爾、至上者之大能將庇爾、是以所生之聖者、必稱為天主之子、且爾親戚以利沙伯、老而孕子、素稱不孕者、今已孕六月矣、蓋於天主無不能成之事、瑪利亞曰、我乃主之婢、願如爾言成於我、天使遂離之而去、○
