So Manoah asked him,“ When your words are fulfilled, what is to be the rule that governs the boy’s life and work?”

玛挪亚说：“愿你的话应验！我们当怎样待这孩子，他后来当怎样呢？”

玛挪亚说：“现在，愿你的话应验！这孩子该如何管教呢？他当做什么呢？”

玛挪亚说：“现在，愿你的话应验！这孩子该如何管教呢？他当做什么呢？”

玛挪亚问道：“你的话应验以后，我们应该怎样抚养这孩子？他该做什么？”

玛挪亚说：“你的话应验的时候，这孩子的生活方式怎样？他要作什么呢？”

瑪挪亞說：「願你的話應驗！我們當怎樣待這孩子，他後來當怎樣呢？」

瑪挪亞說：「現在，願你的話應驗！這孩子該如何管教呢？他當做甚麼呢？」

瑪挪亞說：「現在，願你的話應驗！這孩子該如何管教呢？他當做甚麼呢？」

瑪挪亞問道：「你的話應驗以後，我們應該怎樣撫養這孩子？他該做什麼？」

瑪挪亞說：“你的話應驗的時候，這孩子的生活方式怎樣？他要作甚麼呢？”

瑪挪亞說：『那麼你的話應驗的時候，這孩子的生活方式要怎麼樣？他的業務要怎樣呢？』

瑪挪亞曰、願爾言驗、我待此子、當循何例、其行若何、

馬挪亞曰、願有效驗、如爾所言、我待斯子、當循何例、其所行若何。

瑪挪亞曰、爾言驗時、斯子當如何、我待之當如何、或作我待斯子當循何例其所行若何

So Manoah asked him,“ What will happen when your words come true? What rules should we follow for the boy’s life and work?”

And Manoah said,“ Now when your words come true, what is to be the child’s manner of life, and what is his mission?”

So Manoah asked him,“ When your words come true, what kind of rules should govern the boy’s life and work?”

Then Manoah asked,“ When your words come true, what will be the boy’s responsibilities and work?”

Then Manoah said,“ Now when your words are fulfilled, what shall be the boy’s way of life and his vocation?”

Manoah said,“ Now let Your words come to pass! What will be the boy’s rule of life, and his work?”

And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass: what shall be the ordering of the child, and how shall we do unto him?

Then Manoah asked,“ When Your words come true, what will the boy’s responsibilities and mission be?”

And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and[ how] shall we do unto him?

Manoah said,“ Now, when your announcement comes true, how should the child be raised and what should he do?”

Manoah said,“ Now let your words happen. What shall the child’s way of life and mission be?”

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.”

Then he taught me, and he said to me,“ Take hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands, and you will live.
