So Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead,“ Did you not hate me, and expel me from my father’s house? Why have you come to me now when you are in distress?”

耶弗他回答基列的长老说：“从前你们不是恨我、赶逐我出离父家吗？现在你们遭遇急难为何到我这里来呢？”

耶弗他对基列的长老说：“你们不是恨我，把我赶出父家吗？现在你们遭遇急难，为何到我这里来呢？”

耶弗他对基列的长老说：“你们不是恨我，把我赶出父家吗？现在你们遭遇急难，为何到我这里来呢？”

耶弗他说：“从前你们不是厌恶我，把我从父亲家赶走的吗？现在你们遭难，为什么来找我？”

耶弗他对基列的长老说：“从前你们不是恨我，赶逐我离开我的父家吗？现在你们遭遇患难的时候，为什么到我这里来呢？”

耶弗他回答基列的長老說：「從前你們不是恨我、趕逐我出離父家嗎？現在你們遭遇急難為何到我這裏來呢？」

耶弗他對基列的長老說：「你們不是恨我，把我趕出父家嗎？現在你們遭遇急難，為何到我這裏來呢？」

耶弗他對基列的長老說：「你們不是恨我，把我趕出父家嗎？現在你們遭遇急難，為何到我這裏來呢？」

耶弗他說：「從前你們不是厭惡我，把我從父親家趕走的嗎？現在你們遭難，為什麼來找我？」

耶弗他對基列的長老說：“從前你們不是恨我，趕逐我離開我的父家嗎？現在你們遭遇患難的時候，為甚麼到我這裡來呢？”

耶弗他對基列的長老說：『從前你們不是恨我，趕逐了我離開我父的家麼？為甚麼現在遭遇了患難了就來找我呢？』

耶弗他曰、爾非憾我、逐我於父家乎、今爾遭難、何就我耶、

耶弗大曰、汝非憾我、逐我於父家乎。今遭患難、乃相就耶。

耶弗他謂基列長老曰、爾昔憾我、逐我於父家、今爾曹遘逃難、乃就我何耶、

Jephthah said to them,“ Didn’t you hate me and drive me from my father’s house? Why do you come to me now, when you’re in trouble?”

Jephthah said to them,“ Didn’t you hate me? Didn’t you drive me away from my father’s house? Why are you coming to me only when you are in trouble?”

But Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead,“ Did you not hate me and drive me out of my father’s house? Why have you come to me now when you are in distress?”

But Jephthah said to them,“ Aren’t you the ones who hated me and drove me from my father’s house? Why do you come to me now when you’re in trouble?”

Jephthah replied to the elders of Gilead,“ Didn’t you hate me and drive me out of my father’s family? Why then have you come to me now when you’re in trouble?”

But Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead,“ Did you not hate me and drive me from my father’s house? So why have you come to me now when you are in trouble?”

And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and drive me out of my father’s house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress?

Jephthah replied to the elders of Gilead,“ Didn’t you hate me and drive me from my father’s house? Why then have you come to me now when you’re in trouble?”

And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father’s house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress?

Jephthah said to the leaders of Gilead,“ But you hated me and made me leave my father’s house. Why do you come to me now, when you are in trouble?”

Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead,“ Didn’t you hate me, and drive me out of my father’s house? Why have you come to me now when you are in distress?”

And Isaac said to them,“ Why have you come to me, since you hate me and have sent me away from you?”

Also the sons of those who afflicted you Shall come bowing to you, And all those who despised you shall fall prostrate at the soles of your feet; And they shall call you The City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

“ And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with himand delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.Now a famine and great trouble came over all the land of Egypt and Canaan, and our fathers found no sustenance.But when Jacob heard that there was grain in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.And the second time Joseph was made known to his brothers, and Joseph’s family became known to the Pharaoh.Then Joseph sent and called his father Jacob and all his relatives to him, seventy-five people.

Come and let us sell him to the Ishmaelites, and let not our hand be upon him, for he is our brother and our flesh.” And his brothers listened.

A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.

Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie— indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

And Joseph said to his brothers,“ Please come near to me.” So they came near. Then he said:“ I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life.
