whatever comes out of the door of my house to meet me when I return in triumph from the Ammonites will be the Lord’s, and I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering.”

昔我乞之於耶和華、今我歸之於耶和華、至於畢生、遂在彼崇拜耶和華。

許願曰、萬有之主耶和華、如垂顧婢難、憶我弗忘、賜婢生男、則必使奉事耶和華、至於畢生、薙髮之刀不加於首。

彼縱私心、以何惡之事為悅、故宰牛刲羊、與殺人斬犬無異、獻禮焚香與塗豕血、祈偶像無異。

撒母耳尚幼、所衣公服、以枲為之、奉事耶和華。

掃羅曰、約拿單、我必致爾於死、我不若是、願上帝罰我。

如所許者、不潔之畜、不堪享我、則必獻至祭司、以估其價、或美或惡、必遵祭司所估之命、

當日掃羅與民發誓、曰、毋食餱糧、迨夕乃可、犯者見詛、俟我盡報斯仇。因此以色列族不嘗食物、困憊特甚。

遭難之時、予曾許願、茲詣聖室、燔祭以償兮、

凡獻我之物、無論人畜田畝、俱不得鬻、亦不得贖、所獻禮物、不可復贖、乃必宰之。

告以色列族云、有許願者、以人供我役事、則必估其價、循聖所之權衡、自二十歲至六十歲者、男二十五兩、

僱娼之值、市犬之金、俱為爾上帝耶和華所惡、故勿許願攜入其室。
