爾之上帝基抹錫爾之地、爾可得之、我之上帝耶和華錫我之地、我亦得之、

爾之神基抹所賜爾之地、爾方可據而有、我之天主耶和華於我前所逐之人、其地我必據而有、

Will you not take what your god Chemosh gives you? Likewise, whatever the Lord our God has given us, we will possess.

You will take what your god Chemosh gives you, won’t you? In the same way, we will take over what the Lord our God has given us.

Will you not possess what Chemosh your god gives you to possess? And all that the Lord our God has dispossessed before us, we will possess.

You keep whatever your god Chemosh gives you, and we will keep whatever the Lord our God gives us.

Isn’t it true that you can have whatever your god Chemosh conquers for you, and we can have whatever the LORD our God conquers for us?

Do you not possess what Chemosh your god gives you to possess? So whatever the Lord our God has dispossessed before us, we will possess it.

Will you not possess whatever Chemosh your god gives you to possess? So whatever the Lord our God takes possession of before us, we will possess.

Isn’t it true that you may possess whatever your god Chemosh drives out for you, and we may possess everything the Lord our God drives out before us?

You have the right to take what Chemosh your god gives you, but we will take the land of all whom the LORD our God has driven out before us.

Then did Solomon build a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, in the mount that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the children of Ammon.

Speak not thou in thy heart, after that Jehovah thy God hath thrust them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness Jehovah hath brought me in to possess this land; whereas for the wickedness of these nations Jehovah doth drive them out from before thee.Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thy heart, dost thou go in to possess their land; but for the wickedness of these nations Jehovah thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may establish the word which Jehovah sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

Thou didst drive out the nations with thy hand; But them thou didst plant: Thou didst afflict the peoples; But them thou didst spread abroad.
