遂巡曠野、環以東摩押境、至摩押東隅、建營於亞嫩外、不入其國、蓋摩押以亞嫩為界。

遂復行曠野、遶以東地及摩押地、由摩押東而來、在亞嫩溪潰列營、並不入摩押境、蓋亞嫩素為摩押之界、

“ Next they traveled through the wilderness, skirted the lands of Edom and Moab, passed along the eastern side of the country of Moab, and camped on the other side of the Arnon. They did not enter the territory of Moab, for the Arnon was its border.

“ Next, they traveled through the desert. They traveled along the borders of the lands of Edom and Moab. They passed along the east side of the country of Moab. They camped on the other side of the Arnon River. They didn’t enter the territory of Moab. The Arnon River was Moab’s border.

“ Then they journeyed through the wilderness and went around the land of Edom and the land of Moab and arrived on the east side of the land of Moab and camped on the other side of the Arnon. But they did not enter the territory of Moab, for the Arnon was the boundary of Moab.

“ Finally, they went around Edom and Moab through the wilderness. They traveled along Moab’s eastern border and camped on the other side of the Arnon River. But they never once crossed the Arnon River into Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.

“ Then they traveled through the wilderness and around the lands of Edom and Moab. They came to the east side of the land of Moab and camped on the other side of the Arnon but did not enter into the territory of Moab, for the Arnon was the boundary of Moab.

Then they went through the wilderness and around the land of Edom and the land of Moab, and came to the east side of the land of Moab, and they camped beyond the Arnon; but they did not enter the territory of Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.

And they went along through the wilderness and bypassed the land of Edom and the land of Moab, came to the east side of the land of Moab, and encamped on the other side of the Arnon. But they did not enter the border of Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.

Then they went through the wilderness, and went around the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and they encamped on the other side of the Arnon; but they came not within the border of Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.

“ Then they traveled through the wilderness and around the lands of Edom and Moab. They came to the east side of the land of Moab and camped on the other side of the Arnon but did not enter into the territory of Moab, for the Arnon was the boundary of Moab.

Then they went along through the wilderness, and compassed the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, but came not within the border of Moab: for Arnon[ was] the border of Moab.

Then Israel went through the desert and bypassed the land of Edom and the land of Moab. They traveled east of the land of Moab and camped on the other side of the Arnon River; they did not go through Moabite territory( the Arnon was Moab’s border).

Then they went through the wilderness, and went around the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and they encamped on the other side of the Arnon; but they didn’t come within the border of Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.

“之后，我们遵照耶和华的吩咐掉转头，沿红海的路前往旷野，在西珥山区绕行了很久。后来，耶和华对我说，‘你们在这山区绕行的日子够了，现在转向北方吧。你告诉众人，你们将经过西珥，那里住着你们的亲属以扫的子孙。他们惧怕你们，所以要格外谨慎，不要惹他们，因为我已把西珥山赐给以扫作产业，他们的土地，我一寸也不会赐给你们。你们吃的、喝的，都要花钱向他们买。你们的上帝耶和华使你们凡事蒙福，看顾着你们走过这辽阔的旷野，四十年来与你们同在，使你们一无所缺。’“于是，我们绕过我们亲属以扫的子孙所住的西珥，沿亚拉巴的路，经过以拉他、以旬·迦别，向摩押旷野走去。

巴勒听见巴兰来了，就来到边界尽头、亚嫩河边的摩押城迎接他。

以色列全体会众从加低斯出发，来到何珥山。

从加低斯启行，至以东边界的何珥山扎营。以色列人离开埃及后的第四十年五月一日，亚伦祭司遵照耶和华的吩咐上了何珥山，并在那里离世，享年一百二十三岁。在南地的迦南人亚拉得王得知了以色列人要来的消息。以色列人从何珥山启行，至撒摩拿扎营；从撒摩拿启行，至普嫩扎营；从普嫩启行，至阿伯扎营；从阿伯启行，至摩押边境的以耶·亚巴琳扎营；

以色列人为了绕过以东，便从何珥山出发，沿通往红海的路行进。途中，民众心里烦躁，埋怨上帝和摩西说：“你们为什么把我们从埃及带出来，叫我们死在旷野呢？这里无粮无水，我们厌恶这难吃的东西！”于是，耶和华派毒蛇进入以色列人中，咬死了许多人。他们来找摩西，说：“我们埋怨耶和华和你，犯了罪，求你向耶和华祷告，好叫这些蛇离开我们。”摩西就为他们祷告。耶和华对摩西说：“你去造一条蛇挂在杆子上，凡被咬的一望这蛇，就可活命。”摩西就造了一条铜蛇，挂在杆子上。被蛇咬的人一望铜蛇，就保住了性命。以色列人继续前行，在阿伯安营；又从阿伯动身，走到摩押东边的旷野，在以耶·亚巴琳安营；又从那里前行，走到撒烈谷安营；又从那里出发，走到亚嫩河北岸的旷野安营。那里毗邻亚摩利人的边境，亚嫩河是摩押和亚摩利之间的疆界。
