Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the children of Ammon, saying,“ What do you have to do with me, that you have come to me to fight against my land?”

耶弗他打发使者去见亚扪人的王，说：“你与我有什么相干，竟来到我国中攻打我呢？”

然后，他派遣使者去问亚扪王：“你与我有什么相干？为什么要攻打我的领土？”

耶弗他派遣使者去见亚扪人的王，说：“我跟你有什么关系呢？你竟到我这里来攻打我的土地呢？”

耶弗他打發使者去見亞捫人的王，說：「你與我有甚麼相干，竟來到我國中攻打我呢？」

耶弗他派使者到亞捫人的王那裏，說：「你與我有甚麼相干，竟來到我這裏攻打我的地呢？」

耶弗他派使者到亞捫人的王那裏，說：「你與我有甚麼相干，竟來到我這裏攻打我的地呢？」

然後，他派遣使者去問亞捫王：「你與我有什麼相干？為什麼要攻打我的領土？」

耶弗他派遣使者去見亞捫人的王，說：“我跟你有甚麼關係呢？你竟到我這裡來攻打我的土地呢？”

耶弗他打發使者去見亞捫人的王、說：『你與我有甚麼相干？你竟到我這裏來攻打我的地呢？』

耶弗他遣使見亞捫王曰、爾與我何與、致爾至我、而攻我地乎、

耶弗大遣使者至亞捫族、告其王曰、我與爾何與、爾至斯土、攻我曷故。

耶弗他遣使往見亞捫人之王曰、我與爾何與、爾入我境攻我何故、

Then Jephthah sent messengers to the Ammonite king with the question:“ What do you have against me that you have attacked my country?”

Then Jephthah sent messengers to the king of Ammon. They asked,“ What do you have against me? Why have you attacked my country?”

Then Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the Ammonites and said,“ What do you have against me, that you have come to me to fight against my land?”

Then Jephthah sent messengers to the king of Ammon, asking,“ Why have you come out to fight against my land?”

Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the Ammonites, asking,“ What do you have against me that you have come to fight me in my land?”

So Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the sons of Ammon, saying,“ What conflict do you and I have, that you have come to me to fight against my land?”

Now Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the people of Ammon, saying,“ What do you have against me, that you have come to fight against me in my land?”

And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come unto me to fight against my land?

Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the Ammonites, saying,“ What do you have against me that you have come to fight against me in my land?”

And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land?

Jephthah sent messengers to the Ammonite king, saying,“ Why have you come against me to attack my land?”

I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

Don’t be hasty in bringing charges to court. What will you do in the end when your neighbor shames you?Debate your case with your neighbor, and don’t betray the confidence of another,

Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom, saying:“ Your brother Israel says: You know all the travail that has happened to us;

When you draw near to a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace to it.It shall be, if it gives you answer of peace and opens to you, then it shall be that all the people who are found therein shall become forced laborers to you, and shall serve you.

Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying,“ Come, let’s look one another in the face.”Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying,“ The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying,‘ Give your daughter to my son as wife. Then a wild animal that was in Lebanon passed by, and trampled down the thistle.You have indeed struck Edom, and your heart has lifted you up. Enjoy the glory of it, and stay at home; for why should you meddle to your harm, that you fall, even you, and Judah with you?’”But Amaziah would not listen. So Jehoash king of Israel went up; and he and Amaziah king of Judah looked one another in the face at Beth Shemesh, which belongs to Judah.Judah was defeated by Israel; and each man fled to his tent.

Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,

“ If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
