And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come unto me to fight against my land?

耶弗他打發使者去見亞捫人的王，說：「你與我有甚麼相干，竟來到我國中攻打我呢？」

耶弗他派使者到亞捫人的王那裏，說：「你與我有甚麼相干，竟來到我這裏攻打我的地呢？」

然後，他派遣使者去問亞捫王：「你與我有什麼相干？為什麼要攻打我的領土？」

耶弗他派遣使者去見亞捫人的王，說：“我跟你有甚麼關係呢？你竟到我這裡來攻打我的土地呢？”

耶弗他打發使者去見亞捫人的王、說：『你與我有甚麼相干？你竟到我這裏來攻打我的地呢？』

耶弗他遣使見亞捫王曰、爾與我何與、致爾至我、而攻我地乎、

耶弗大遣使者至亞捫族、告其王曰、我與爾何與、爾至斯土、攻我曷故。

耶弗他遣使往見亞捫人之王曰、我與爾何與、爾入我境攻我何故、

Then Jephthah sent messengers to the Ammonite king with the question:“ What do you have against me that you have attacked my country?”

Then Jephthah sent messengers to the king of Ammon. They asked,“ What do you have against me? Why have you attacked my country?”

Then Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the Ammonites and said,“ What do you have against me, that you have come to me to fight against my land?”

Then Jephthah sent messengers to the king of Ammon, asking,“ Why have you come out to fight against my land?”

Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the Ammonites, asking,“ What do you have against me that you have come to fight me in my land?”

So Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the sons of Ammon, saying,“ What conflict do you and I have, that you have come to me to fight against my land?”

Now Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the people of Ammon, saying,“ What do you have against me, that you have come to fight against me in my land?”

Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the Ammonites, saying,“ What do you have against me that you have come to fight against me in my land?”

And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land?

Jephthah sent messengers to the Ammonite king, saying,“ Why have you come against me to attack my land?”

Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the children of Ammon, saying,“ What do you have to do with me, that you have come to me to fight against my land?”

And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

Go not forth hastily to strive, Lest thou know not what to do in the end thereof, When thy neighbor hath put thee to shame.Debate thy cause with thy neighbor himself, And disclose not the secret of another;

And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh unto the king of Edom, Thus saith thy brother Israel, Thou knowest all the travail that hath befallen us:

When thou drawest nigh unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it.And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that are found therein shall become tributary unto thee, and shall serve thee.

Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us look one another in the face.And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trod down the thistle.Thou hast indeed smitten Edom, and thy heart hath lifted thee up: glory thereof, and abide at home; for why shouldest thou meddle to thy hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?But Amaziah would not hear. So Jehoash king of Israel went up; and he and Amaziah king of Judah looked one another in the face at Beth- shemesh, which belongeth to Judah.And Judah was put to the worse before Israel; and they fled every man to his tent.

And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,

And if thy brother sin against thee, go, show him his fault between thee and him alone: if he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.But if he hear thee not, take with thee one or two more, that at the mouth of two witnesses or three every word may be established.
