耶和華對以色列人說：「我豈沒有救你們脫離埃及人、亞摩利人、亞捫人和非利士人嗎？

耶和華諭以色列人曰、我豈未拯爾於埃及亞摩利亞捫非利士人乎、

The Lord replied,“ When the Egyptians, the Amorites, the Ammonites, the Philistines,

The Lord replied,“ The Egyptians and Amorites treated you badly. So did the Ammonites and Philistines.

And the Lord said to the people of Israel,“ Did I not save you from the Egyptians and from the Amorites, from the Ammonites and from the Philistines?

The Lord replied,“ Did I not rescue you from the Egyptians, the Amorites, the Ammonites, the Philistines,

The LORD said to the Israelites,“ When the Egyptians, Amorites, Ammonites, Philistines,

And the Lord said to the sons of Israel,“ Did I not save you from the Egyptians, the Amorites, the sons of Ammon, and the Philistines?

So the Lord said to the children of Israel,“ Did I not deliver you from the Egyptians and from the Amorites and from the people of Ammon and from the Philistines?

And Jehovah said unto the children of Israel, Did not I save you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

The Lord said to the Israelites,“ When the Egyptians, Amorites, Ammonites, Philistines,

And the LORD said unto the children of Israel,[ Did] not[ I deliver you] from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

Yahweh said to the children of Israel,“ Didn’t I save you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

那一日，耶和華拯救以色列脫離埃及人的手。以色列人看見埃及人死在海邊。

以笏之後，有亞拿的兒子珊迦，他用趕牛的棍子打死六百非利士人。他也拯救了以色列。

以色列差遣使者到亞摩利人的王西宏那裏，說：「求你讓我們穿越你的地；我們不岔進田間和葡萄園，也不喝井裏的水，只走王的大道，直到過了你的邊界。」但西宏不讓以色列人穿越他的境內，就召集他的眾百姓出到曠野，要攻擊以色列，到了雅雜與以色列交戰。以色列人用刀殺了他，佔領了他的地，從亞嫩河到雅博河，直到亞捫人的邊界，因為亞捫人的邊防堅固。以色列人奪取這裏所有的城鎮，就住在亞摩利人的城鎮中，包括希實本和所屬的一切鄉鎮。

因着信，他們過紅海如行乾地；埃及人試着要過去就被淹沒了。

從前雅各到了埃及，後來你們的祖先呼求耶和華，耶和華就差遣摩西和亞倫領你們的祖先出埃及，來到這地方居住。

他擊打許多國家，殺戮大能的君王，就是亞摩利王西宏、巴珊王噩，和迦南一切的國度，

於是這地太平四十年。基納斯的兒子俄陀聶死了。以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事。耶和華使摩押王伊磯倫強大，攻擊以色列，因為他們行耶和華眼中看為惡的事。伊磯倫召集亞捫人和亞瑪力人到他那裏，他就去攻打以色列，佔據了棕樹城。於是以色列人服事摩押王伊磯倫十八年。以色列人呼求耶和華，耶和華就為他們興起一位拯救者，便雅憫人基拉的兒子以笏，他是個慣用左手的人。以色列人託他送禮物給摩押王伊磯倫。

然而，他因自己的名拯救他們，為要彰顯他的大能。他斥責紅海，海就乾了，帶領他們走過深海，如走曠野。他拯救他們脫離恨他們之人的手，從仇敵手中救贖他們。水淹沒他們的敵人，沒有一個存留。

耶和華的使者從吉甲上到波金，說：「我領你們從埃及上來，帶你們到我向你們列祖起誓應許之地。我曾說：『我永不廢棄我與你們的約。你們不可與這地的居民立約，要拆毀他們的祭壇。』你們竟沒有聽從我的話。你們為何這樣做呢！因此我說：『我必不將他們從你們面前趕出。他們必作你們肋下的荊棘，他們的神明必成為你們的圈套。』」

於是他們殺了巴珊王和他的眾子，以及他的眾百姓，沒有留下一個倖存者，並且佔領了他的地。

「『你曾看見我們祖先在埃及所受的困苦，垂聽他們在紅海邊的哀求，施行神蹟奇事在法老和他所有臣僕，以及他國中眾百姓身上，因為你知道他們向我們祖先行事狂傲。你也得了名聲，正如今日一樣。你在我們祖先面前把海分開，使他們走過海中乾地，將追趕他們的人拋在深海，如石頭拋在大水中。

在埃及擊殺所有的長子，在含的帳棚中擊殺他們壯年時頭生的。他卻領出自己的子民如羊，在曠野引導他們如羊羣。他領他們穩穩妥妥地，使他們不致害怕；海卻淹沒他們的仇敵。
